Students of the Yaba College of Technology embarked on a protest to condemn the death of a student of the institution.

The student, a female believed to be in her final year in the department of Food Technology, reportedly died after she visited the school medical center for an ailment and proper attention was not given to her.

The students shut down the gates leading into the school and have also ground activities to a halt.

19. At the end of the day, we head to our so called hostel and leave as victims that we went out as #Yabatech
