The City of Lagos is home to 21 million people. It is by far Africa’s largest metropolis and one of the biggest cities on Earth. It is also the commercial nerve center of West Africa and arguably the entertainment capital of Africa. Lagos is to Nigeria what New York is to the United States. If Lagos was a country it will have Africa’s 4th largest economy. With a GDP in excess of $90 billion the conomy of Lagos is nearly twice the size of East Africa’s biggest economy Kenya.
