Just found out he was to see PMB personally before proceeding to Lagos State to round up his 4 day visit. Now in the absence of PMB, the schedule was reversed. he leaves Nigeria this Evening

I thought the acting president should have been responsible for receiving such a high profile visiting government official ( President) from another country in the absence of the president Which has always been the diplomatic norm.

Seeing GMB personally is his choice but who receives a visiting president is the part I'm lost at sea.

Does it mean seeing the acting president out of courtesy was unimportant and his official trip to lagos was more paramount?

Joachim Gauck is the president of Germany and Angela Merkel is the chancellor of Germany. The difference is that the chancellor is alot higher than the president and the chancellor possesses power just like the president here in Nigeria. In Germany, the president is more ceremonial
