Mamam vasta was a great poet,a very rare one . He was very very good .try and get some of his poems.

Let me educate u. when we say the north has always been the problem of nigeria it is not by who has been president in what times. It's the fact that any tym they are in power, the kind of massive corruption and enrichment of themselves and their cronies that happen is bewildering. Nigeria is more divided now than it was in the 80s. We are like strange bed fellows forcing ourselves to stay together;that's why I sometimes want to agree with the ibos who want to go away. Please, don't compare Kanu's case with that of Vatsa. In the case of Vatsa, he was a prolific writer and a fine soldier and there was no evidence that he was part of the coup plotters. Soyinka, Achebe and Clark were there to plead for their fellow writer and an innocent man. In the case of Kanu, there are evidences of his felony.
