The high number of beaches in Lagos is a clear indication of the ties the state has its coastal waters.

Located just by the Ikate area of Lekki, the Elegushi beach is a fun-zone with exceptional restaurants, night clubs and hangout spots selling mouth-watering local dishes as a variety of live shows hold sway every day of the week. It also serves as a major venue to carnivals, hiphop fiestas, promotional shows and lots more.

Loud music, fun seekers dancing bumper-to-bumper to the rhythms of loud music, individuals who are not ready to think about their problems, crowds who just want to have a bottle of drinks or two by the beautiful sights of the water, are all common sights at the Elegushi beach. For this, there are more party crackers at the beach compared to an average club on a good Saturday.

Elegushi beach Lagos Nigeria is characterized with a breakwater you can just walk up, shacks with vendors ready to treat you like a tourist while selling their irresistible foods and drinks, fun lovers on amazing horse rides and what have you.

For fun seekers to gain entrance into the premises of the beach, an entrance fee of N1000 per head must be paid while a meager sum of N200 must also be paid to park your car.

Everything at the beach is expensive. A lot of fun seekers come-in into the beach with their food items. This obviously is a resultant effect of how expensive everything sold at the beach is, including food items. A bottle of water which goes normally for a slim price of N50 can be sold to tourists for as high as N150 to N200 at the beach. This however does not mean business owners do not still sell their wares and food items. Small chops like Ice cream and Suya still enjoy massive purchase at the beach.

As an observant fun lover, one of the first things you will notice about the beach is the sea spray. The manner at which the water glides, breaking lose very close to the sandy beach is heavenly and heart melting.

For any tourist who might want to go seashell-hunting, Elegushi beach is the perfect destination. The amount of seashells that can be spotted on the sea sand will definitely thrill a seashell hunter. The beach is blessed with a not-so-pebbly kind of sand and not-so-blue water with a lot of nice people who would not mind to show you your way around. No wonder the beach is quite orderly and clean compared to some other beaches available around Lagos.

Do you need a major attraction with class? Visit Elegushi beach!
