One fact is that Abuja is an Administrative city. It's not as highly commercial as Lagos.

80% of people working in Abuja are public office workers(govt jobs). Now getting a public office job is like walking on a line with one leg. It's not easy at all.

Well, apart from the fast growing banking sector in the capital city, another growing sector is Education. Private entrepreneurs have taken charge of basic and secondary education. There are fast growing private schools, thus the demand for teaching staff is high.

Job seekers should try to run a short post graduate programme in Education, to gain basic TP knowledge, and harness this growing sector.

@chijen, there's an opening in my aunt's foundation, for the post of a bursar. Your accounting knowledge would be an advantage. The foundation is located in wuse zone 1, and an outreach along Abuja-keffi road.

If you stay close wuse, I can give you a lead.

You do a business to pass time, not a job. No employer wld employ someone who wants to pass time in his organisation. Mind what you say publicly, it may work against you somehow.

A job seeker should endeavor to indicate his location, age range, basic skills, and other necessary details.

You may stay in Lugbe and an employer who has a job to offer is situated in Maitama.

So always indicate your location, so those within your district can come to your aid.
