This is to inform all Unizik aspirants to start checking their Unizik portal as from now...

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has uploaded the merit admission list for the 2017/2018 academic session online.

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has released the list of admitted candidates for 2017/2018 academic session.

Candidates who applied for admission in the university can check their admission status on the school portal.


HOW TO CHECK UNIZIK ADMISSION LIST.
Follow the procedure below to check your admission status

-Log on to http://portal.unizik.edu.ng/utme-screening/2017_2018/index.html
-Scroll down and click on "Continue"
-Enter your email and Password in the spaces provided
-Click on "Login" and proceed to view your admission details
-Click Login to access your UNIZIK admission status.

Successfully admitted candidates are to begin necessary registrations without delay. Also note that lectures will begin for old and new students on Monday, 27th November 2017 as scheduled.


There are two significant changes that made me believe that uploading of names is going on..
First, when you click on admission status, You then must have logged in,it now shows "Check Admission status" instead of the previous "Check application status"
Secondly, when you click on "check admission status" it will pop up a page of java script as if it were a web programming page,it does not show blank any more.
This two changes show that something is going on right now on the portal, I advice everyone to start checking right now..

Let me Explain The Four Vocabulary You can Receive From The Site

1)Not Admitted: This Means Your First Choice and Other Choice You Picked When Registering for Jamb None Have Offered You Admission In This Case Don't Accept Yet

2) Recommended : This Means The Institution You Picked Haven't Given You Admission and There's a Chance That Institution Won't Give you admission Or Release Another List, So If you Click Accept, Jamb Will Automatically Put You in the Market Place that's Assign You to another University That Wants You Whether You picked them or not so after clicking accept keep checking the acceptance page to be notified of your fresh admission

3)Approved: Congratulations You've been Admitted Accept Immediately that's if you want the admission

4) Admitted: Congratulations!..For Some people It Won't Show Approved, it will show admitted Just accept Either one you see.
Every JAMBITES who have been offered admission are endeavour to login to their jamb profile portal and accept the admission via CAPS link if they're fully satisfied with given admission from the institutions chosen!!

Please and please if your yet to be offered admission yet by your chosen institutions don't, i repeat don't accept admission yet on CAPS , But if the webpage says Approved You can accept Even If the List Haven't been released, but if the site is saying Not admitted don't accept �(risky), just hold-on till your chosen institution offer you admission to your desire/other course you know you can study���

UNIZIK SCHOOL FEES { all the fees below are approximated to WHOLE NUMBERS}
YEAR ONE

1. School fee: #56,000

2. Accreditation fee: #10,000

3. Acceptance fee and biometric: #24,000

4. Departmental and faculty registration ranges from #7000 to #14,000 depending on department and faculty

5. Gss registration and result processing: #7000

6.Unizik journal,history book, song, shirts, security handbook etc #5,000

The bank charges and remitta cost of all the fees above is estimated to #4000 including the photocopies, passport, transport within school and snacks involved in the journey.
TOTAL FEES FOR YEAR ONE IS FAIRLY ESTIMATED TO BE #120,000 there maybe possible balance.

NOTE: Ensure to Pay acceptance fees when admitted, other fees can wait if you're not buoyant, YOU CAN TAKE YOUR EXAMINATIONS WITH A TEMPORARY REG NUMBER PENDING WHEN YOU PAY YOUR SCHOOL FEES notwithstanding, it's advisable to pay year one school fees during first semester of year one.

I want to know if one can apply for change of course after admission in case one wasn't given their preferred course ?


yes u cn change ur course.
after year 1 or whenever you like.
butt its always better after yearr1 because whenver you change course you are starting from year2.
so its better you change course after your year1


How can the person change course After

you can change course by buying change of course form.
inside the school.
its a long process though.
it takes months to complete
you will fill the form and then take it to many people to sign..
1) HOD of your department
2) dean of your faculty
3) HOD of the department u want to enter
4) Dean of the faculty you want to enter
5) The registrar

Gettng these five people to sign dat form will take you more than two months
Then u go to Your department and you request they should sign you out

***but before then you have to go to the department you want to enter and present your results.
so that they will tell you if they will sign You into their department or not .
Then if they agree to sign you in..... you can now go and be signed out frm your department.




Confirmed Unizik Admission List 2017/2018 Released On JAMB Website

We’re glad to inform the general public, especially all candidates who sat for Nnamdi Azikwe University – UNIZIK post utme screening exercise, and are awaiting their school’s admission list, that they can now check their admission status, live on JAMB result/admission checking website.

According to information released by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board – JAMB admission status checking portal is now open and accessible to the general public, not to mention that it’s free to use.




All candidates should take note that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) management board has officially opened the portal for checking of admission status for the 2017/2018 academic session.

Uploading the lists of all successfully admitted students was a directive from JAMB, insisting that all tertiary institutions in Nigeria to sending the names of candidates they offered provisional admission before the end of this month.

Well, great news is that some educational institutions have already started sending the names, and jamb portal has already upload the names online and have opened up the portal for the 2017/18 candidates to access it.

Nnamdi Azikwe University – UNIZIK candidates can now access their admission status from JAMB portal by http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/

I wish to informed all unizik 2016/2017 post utme candidates that the forms will be available by june/july. the cut of marks is 200 EXCEPT faculty of educations and some affiliated schools which is 180. catchement advantage is for ENUGU , ABIA , IMO EBONYI AND ANAMBRA only. if you are not from the above listed states , you should work very hard to beat the MERIT cut of marks. once you merit admission in unizik you must be admitted. the difference between catchement cut off marks and merits cut off marks is 10 to 20 marks. that is alot !. the exam is cbt. forms is usually #2000 only. questions are set from POST UTME past question and answers
