The media has continued in its probe into the past of the new bride of the Ooni of Ife, with the lady's former lover recently uncovered.

Photo of the new wife of Ooni of Ife, Sonia Itohan Wuraola Otiti and her former Lebanese billionaire husband, Eli Khoury has surfaced on the internet.

Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi's new wife, Sonia is alleged to have been married to a former Jigawa state governor. Her marriage to the former governor reportedly ended abruptly when she got pregnant while the governor was battling with impotency. She is said to have later given birth to twins who died at birth.

She was also said to have allegedly had a love affair with a former deputy senate majority leader. The love affair allegedly crashed over infidelity.

The beautiful woman who is in her 30s met and married her Dubai billionaire in 2015. As at July 2015, Sonia still flaunted Eli Khoury on her social media account.

She has however deleted all her social media accounts , right before she got married to Ooni of Ife last weekend in top-class wedding.

What happened is that the lady may have a chequered past but it shouldn't worry anybody because God makes king/queen to whom He wants. We all are children of the Most High and God's grace is indiscriminately sufficient for all and sundry. NB: God does not choose the qualified rather he qualifies the chosen. The lady in question has not claimed to be unblemished; she has been sober so far - if you are keen to observe. In as much as her husband, the king accepted her with all his heart, that's what is needed. Then, may God hear their supplication for a successful reign.

I don't see anything strange about what the ooni did.Queen Esther(the late first wife of the recently deceased oba erediauwa of Benin) have giving birth to children before the oba married her.I think she was married to edokpolor or one his son.The traditional institutions have a way of deceiving its subjects, they don't practise what they preach. They will tell you that the reason we have high criminal activities today is because of the abandonment of their gods,where as, if you go through history of the era of idol worship/traditional institution you will discover that there is no single criminal activities going on now that was not happening then.
