Dyt you made me lol!
hmmmm
I guess I am one of the lucky few
nothing particularly weird, but I will leave this here
so the OP will have the other side of the coin
I was having a filled day with the sound of other ladies
but couldnt laugh because I had no idea how mine will be wink
after 16 abi na 18 hours of labour
mine came on and off
infact i was sleeping deeply in between labour grin
when the contraction came , hubby will rub my back
when it stops i fall right back asleep
it was a teaching hospital with their '' yeye no male law'' and I was the only one in my labour ward
so he could sneak in when I need before he is caught grin
I could hear all sort of screams from the other labour ward close to mine!
when I started feeling poo poo I just called the nurse
unfortunately for me another woman in labour was already
in the same ward as me so my hubby couldnt enter e pain me ehen
According to him he said he just heard a loud hmmmmm and
boom Our son was born
me sha after I heard the nurse say yes the head is out
na deep sleep o!
I just heard them say
madam what do you have I said baby boy
then placenta came out with little effort.
I just felt one kin' relieve so unexplainable!
my next delivery I so want to try water birth
I wish myself luck with that smiley

Before labour, my husband ate suya. When labour pains descended on me, I asked him to go and brush his teeth before coming close to me. He asked me what I would eat when i deliver, I told him snacks. Come n see the kind of hunger that wired me after delivery...I couldnt explain o... Unfortunately, all the food stores had closed. I didn't allow my siblings to sleep o, they brought pap and rice for me very early the ffg day.

zemaye:

In Western countries, men are allowed to come into the delivery room from beginning to end unless they decide otherwise.
Maybe the women should insist if helps with the labour.

Mine was cool cos I had prepared my mind for d worse. I didnt shout until d latter part when d pain became so unbearable, I kept on slapping d wall and gave it knocks.
At a point I had muscle pull on my leg and contractions on my stomach, I didn't knw which to hold maybe d leg or stomach.

.When d actual tym came I vomited and I tld d midwife I wanted to poo, she said I should, I just kept on shouting its strong/hard (O le e), afta d first push my baby's head showed bt was nt forthcoming, so she cut me, d next push my baby was out. i felt relieved and for the first time in months I able to see my thighs without looking in the mirror.

Finally, the suture torture, had 4 stitches.
