I laboured so hard on marrying a Nupe lady I love but unfortunately, tribal difference stalled the plan. We met during service year and started as normal friends, but much as we love ourselves, I was not able to get her family approval for marriage, simply because I am Yoruba and her family can't give her to a Yoruba man. Both of us are practising Muslims and we are very compatible in many respects.
