If you're having virus, worms or any other malware problems. Try scanning your PC with RoboSAM first.

my system can cot install updates after i must have downloaded it
the last time i had the issue was that it stayed at "installing 167 of 174 update" and it stayed on that point for more than 5 hours without progressing to the 168th update
when i forced it to stopped, it then start configuring updates at 0% but could not progress until it show a configuring but later failed then retrieving configuration.

please help me to suggest what i can do to solve the problem

my windows is windows 7

Use your the failing hardisk as an external hard disk by buying an external hard disk adapter. Buy a new hard disk for your system . Nothing to do about the failing hard disk other than replace it.
How do I troubleshoot the battery's malady. It still won't charge beyond 76%. And it drains four times as fast as before.

you should try to remember what u did before the battery started giving you this issue. Maybe you installed a program or did a bios upgrade. Or do a system format
I would not want to jump into conclusion that the battery is bad. To be sure of the battery being a problem, remove and insert into another system and see its performance. It's likely a battery problem.

Hello.

My system (HP pavilion 15. Core i5, 4gb of ram, 320gb HDD) has always been atypically slow. Two nights ago, it hit rock bottom. Here are the sudden symptoms:

It takes almost 30mins to boot.
Takes several minutes to open an app or a software.
The apps suddenly become unresponsive.
Battery drains twice as fast as before.

As at last night, it only charged up to 81%. This morning, it has refused to go beyond 79%.

P.S: I've run several malware and virus scans, including avast boot scan.

The symptoms persist. Help!!!!!

When I remove and put back the ba3 it works for few minutes like 5 and stops again.

Pls someone help me out, I a HP 255 G1 windows 10 Enterprise,yesterday my copy and paste stopped working,if I copy a file or folder from an external HDD or flash it won't paste,it will just be dormant ,I tried to format the PC,when it reached 28% it stopped and said it ran into a problem and couldn't complete the format,pls someone help.

Please I don't know much about laptop configurations and thing to consider when deciding to procure one. Should I buy this small laptop with these specifications for an important freelance jobs?
Basically, it's cheap and within my budget range. I intend buying a more bigger and better one tomorrow when I'm more buoyant.

I tried starting it up.. It took me a place that says
WINDOWS FILESHAVE BEEN DAMAGED OR DESTROYED
1.launch startup repair [recommended]
2.start windows normally.

The problem is dat when i clicked on d startup repair its shows files loading fr like 4 seconds and d screen goes blank and it stays that way..
If i click start windows normally as soon as it shows d windows sign its goes back to d launch startup repair mode..
Pls any advice on what i can do?
Its an HAIER notebook.

best thing to do is to install a fresh operating system from an external media such as CD rom or flash drive.
