You still have recovery on your laptop? Restore the os if not, reload the os.

Without the battery it powers on fine. But with the battery the screen remains black, there's power though, like the keyboard & mouse light goes on. The fan remains silent though & the system doesn't boot.

Let me also say that the battery has not be changing for a while so was completely dead.
From my research it's likely the system is trying to power on with the battery but the dead battery can't boot it.
Will order a replacement battery though, just to see.

From my observation, the system is not powering on with the ba3 and not also charging it but it works perfectly with charger..

First of all test with another ba3 and see if it will power it on or even charge.

The reason I said so is because if you repair it now, the fault will still come back in 1-2months time depending on how u use it, and it will continue like that till it get to a time where it won't even work again.. So its better u get another motherboard.

Run the caplock button and see if it is responding well, check if the light on the caplock button will off and on when you press it.

Funny enough I just experienced this same problem few minutes ago. Only, in my case, the laptop booted after I restarted it via cold reboot and it displayed the bsod and kernel_security_check error and went off. Since then it has refused to come on. When I push the power button, the light on the WiFi key comes on as usual but the light on the caps lock key keeps blinking. The worst thing is that I'm working on a very important project

Nah. .wen ah try searching for d file,d message displayed in d screen is 'the item <name of d movie< that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly.

In most cases such hard drive can be use as external since the system can still detect it, you can troubleshoot hard drive if you are good in it, you can watch videos on you tube on how to go about it, you just need to lose it

Try this, go to control panel, locate folder options.

Click on it, select restore default and click apply then exist, restart your pc and see.
