gud morning all...My name is Adeyemi Olumide a.k.a cr80vity...I am creating this thread for those who are interested in this professional course, PMP (project management professional)...some of u might have heard about it...some might even be going through the training right now ( most especially the corpers) and some might have gone through the training...which ever category you find yourself, you are welcome to follow this thread

it wil be an interactive one...questions are allowed after each discussion amd contributions are also allowed (most esp from those who as gone through the training and those who know abt it)...nd also corrections are allowed cux no one knows it all...no one is an.island of knowledge but I promise to always deliver the rite tin...

Gud evenin...first lets talk briefly abt d exam nd sum vital info abt PMP...d exam contains 200 questions nd the pass Mark is 125 I.e. 61%...The grading is either pass or fail whether you have 99% or 62%, u wil b given Pass, nothin like distinction do is either you pass it or you fail it.
U r to take the most appropriate answer cux options (ts a an obj and multiple choice exam type) you r given are also correct so you are to choose the most correct(this apens in most cases) nd its computer base.

QUALIFICATIONS TO TAKE THE EXAM
*for a graduate degree holder, u must have a minimum of 4500 hour experience in the project management field while for an undergraduate, its 7500..
This experience means u must have been involved in a project single handedly or part of a team nd note that you wil be required to list the dates and time (in hours) of dose experiences and u must break this experiences to what u were initiating, planning, monitoring and executing, and closin (we wil stil talk more on ds 4 tins) and all these information must be verifiable...

* you must v 35hrs of project management education or training just like we r doin here...nt realy 35hours per se but a solid training cux its a very tough exam I must confess..

the experience s abt hw long u v bin involve in a project probably as a leader or in team...for instance, u r d president of ur department, u v alot tins u propose in mind to do for d dept e.g buyin a bus for d dept....this way a project is on ground nd d project s u buyin d bus...Wen u cal ur oda excos together, u appoint dose who wil go nd ask for d price of d bus in diffrnt places (ds way u v initiaited)...now u task ur selves on how to raise d money (ds way u r planning)...u execute d project by goin to to buy d bus wen d money s complt nd monitoring it to ensure dat d person buyin it goes there, haggle d price well nd bring d bus...nw dat d bus s on ground u close d project...
Now u v an experience wch is in d bus project, u document it nd convert the amount of days it took u to establish d project into hours...
