Is that not Onyekuru spotting the ten Jersey?

Onyekuru is also from Aspire academy.. I thought it was him but was not 100% sure.

If he had not gone through the compulsory MRI now, Age-cheating allegations would have been flying here there.
that's not a reason to shed the recent released under 20 list by the grade team coaches...

how possible is it for a player who has featured over 2 years in the league to still be 18 years of age?

sometimes we should always tell ourselves the truth....

So just say what you know.
what if I know more than 90%....?

NFF should extend the policy of using non-league players for the u- 17 to the u - 20 or at least saying that they should use 10 league players, 10 non league players and 5 foreign born players. With these they can kill three birds with one stone: reduce the number of age cheats who proliferate the local league who get into the team 2)unearth new talents 3)cap young foreign born players at least at the age grade level.
you wrote wisdom....

So letting Ezenwa go would be tagged as a wise move by a business man called Ifeanyi Ubah in a world cup period?
He also let Stephen Eze, an integral player with the home based eagles with a healthy sale on value to Europe leave. Point is, you're not in the man's pocket. Even Joshua Obaje was let go by the club.
If by any means means you believe Ezenwa was let go due to under performance then, you're totally misinformed.

Probably it is Onyekuru because there was a time they were both in Aspire together. From 2013 - 2015.

and you understand football more than everyone else who agree Moses had a bad game today? Everyone is singling Moses and Morata out, but of course you know football more than everyone else.
Dude sorry to disappoint you but I don't think you really understand football. This same Moses gave morata an assist with a wonderful cross against newscastle, your complaining he dosent go forward a lot, it's seems you fail to notice Chelsea defenders overlap to the wings and push up further, when they are caught on the counter Azpi, kante and Moses are tasked with recovering the ball because of thier pace, Moses is the faster, stronger and more defensive of the wing backs, it's only logical for the slower wing back to push a lot of the attacks because he push further with knowledge he is being protected! Haven't you ever wondered why Moses who is a natural attacker converted to a wing back is always sitting deeper than a trained left back.
To you he had a bad game because he didn't do enough in the final third, I was frustrated to but that dosent rule his overall game as BAD, if you know the role of a wing back you will know Moses did his job very well, his coach values him, he must be doing something right and I'm damn sure Conte is a better coach than you.
It's guys like you that appreciate hazard for all the dribbling and flair but desist guys like matic who has an unflashy style of play, bro that's not how coaches think.

Bentley did very well to invest the money, he made from football.

For Nigerian players, the moment you start making money, all your family members will be on your neck. You will discover long lost relatives. Before you know it, you are carrying the problems of battalion. Once you reject one person, your matter will be tabled in the next family meeting.

This does not apply to just players.

Very true, I can relate.

The quota system will make our scouts go to work. But those scouted should still earn their place in the team. Only the best regardless of where they are from should make the final list.

CELTIC

komekn:

This may seem contradictory but if Ebuehi was to go to Celtic it would give him more exposure and if he performs he could find himself in the EPL on some very good £££.

But then he may be very content with Portuguese league.

We should please do everything possible here to bring Philip Chijioke Ejimadu to the NFF's notice. We shouldn't let that gem slip.

His mum is Brazilian and dad Nigeria-American. His dad regards his route hence, Philip and not Felipe, Chijioke and not Bentley or Anderson, Ejimadu and not Emerson or Gregor.

Dude has Igbo written all over him, we should go for Dat boy wt every armory in our Arsenal. He is a gem

Except you're also in his pocket, what you wrote aren't different from what I wrote. "Assumptions".

There are players still in the club earning more than what the players that left are earning so I doubt it has anything to do with "cutting cost" based on "funding elections".

Uzoho was picked by Aspire academy from a secondary school competition. He is just a big boy and his beards is making him look older.

Pls let's concentrate on the boy potential and not his age,not compulsory for anyone to believe his age.

Don't try to twist my narrative and stoke up sentiments. Kanu is one of my favourite players. I didn't put Kanu and Agbim in the same sentence. Show me where I did. I mentioned Agbim to illustrate a point that merely mentioning a player without digging deep to indicate how many times he featured for that club is being somewhat superficial cos we know that a player can be signed by Real Madrid yet he played zero or so negligible number of matches. So if you want your assertion to be seen for the fact you are advancing kindly show us the stats of all these players for those clubs and then the position clubs like Marseille, Betis, Dortmund, Juve, Anderlecht, Everton, Frankfurt, occupied on the league table. That's what will tell the full story. That's why when I challenged you with Kanu at Inter you said he didn't play for a reason but you forgot that when you mentioned Inter abi?
So it's only the full stats that tell the full story not just that Oruma played for Marseille.

Are you saying Nigerians didn't play for top clubs?

You will win if you are better.

Unfortunately, most aren't better than their host and the mentality of already losing before arriving at the venue is another problem + the insecurity concerning the officials in some venues.

grin

.......... but before Oliseh signed for Juventus he was a Regular at Ajax where he won the Eredivisie and KNVB Cup Twice. He spent just two Seasons with Ajax, won 3 Titles and had 54 Caps, 8 Goals as a DM - fantastic Stats I say. Let me also remind you he was a Regular at FC Cologne - 54 Caps, 4 Goals as a DM. Guess you know he joined Ajax after his outstanding and consistent Performance with FC Cologne in two Seasons consecutively?!

Did he flop at Juventus? No..... rather he had already established Players in the Team like Zinedine Zidane, Antonio Conte, Simone Perotta, Edgar David, Enzo Maresca to contend - for a Spot in the starting XI, I guess you and I know his Competitions ain't Rookies or average Players. He spent just a Season and leave for Dortmund because he didn't get enough Chances to prove himself not FLOP!

He played 22 Times in his first Season (2000 - 2001) at Dortmund, bar Injury and Suspension he was a guaranteed Starter - that wasn't FLOP. In 2001/2002 Season that Dortmund won the Bundesliga and a Runner up in UEFA Cup, he had 18 Caps while fiercely competing with an emerging Talent - Tomas Rosicky.

He lost his starting Berth to Tomas Rosicky in 2002/03, thus he sought for a Loan to Bochum in January of 2002/03 Season where he played 12 Times (Regular for the Team). He was still with Club for the following Season, 2003 - 2004 with a regular Spot in the starting XI and played 22 Times.

He returned to Dortmund, had 11 Caps before he was sacked in March 2004 for head butting teammate Vahid Hashemian while on loan at VfL Bochum allegedly over racial remarks. He wasn't released by the Club because he FLOPPED but for a disciplinary Reason.

In a nutshell, Oliseh Stats ain't average but controversial. The present Eagles are on the right Track, but they ain't on par or better than Eagles of 90s. We do not need to argue this, coz it's basically my personal Submission based on Stats and Figures.

Good job. Ride on.
