Nigeria trio of Simmy Nwankwo,Orji Okonkwo and Joel obi could play a part in deciding who lift the serieA title this season as their clubs will b playing Juventus and Napoli in the remaining 4 fixture... The goal Simmy scored against Juve last week actually gave Napoli some hope....

Please, answer simple questions first. Is it me that said it or Shorumu from that interview?

Even, without the interview, I was one of those happy that the team was disbanded due to the level of indiscipline in the national team.

So, answer questions first. Thanks

So why do you want Vincent back if you are against indiscipline

Rohr's response to ANS accusation

“It’s a big joker. I was laughing so much if I had to start these things now at 65. So, let’s laugh. When I returned from the seminar in Russia and made a stop in Moscow to see Ahmed Musa, it was to see him and it was a coincidence that we played there,” Rohr stated on Monday Night Football on SuperSport.

“Our players are free to meet the agents they want, and I’m not interested in other things than being the coach of the Eagles. I never did it.  I’m 45 years now in professional football, why should I start it now? These people must be very careful, saying such bad things about our players,  especially about  Moses Simon; about his private life, very bad allegations. They have to be careful because one day a lawyer will come and they will finish in prison.”

Rohr on 35 man list

“Yes, it’s (the list) exactly one month before the World Cup and we will be ready and we will speak about it next week, the most important thing is to have a good structure for  preparations,” he said.

“The surprises can only come if some players are doing so well and we have to take them, it will be wonderful to see some surprises. But the players who brought us to the World Cup without any defeat are the first choice now.

“The (home-based) boys have a little chance if they play very well  for  their clubs, you know we have to take the fittest also. In the first 35-man list, they have a chance.”

Rohr on goalkeepers

“Our goalkeeping coach is working with him (Uzoho), he will do another 10 days work with him. The staff of La Coruna, and (Clarence) Seedorf allowed us to work with him. He already has three very good games with us. He kept a clean sheet against Argentina, against Poland you saw what he did against (Robert) Lewandowski but he’s very young. I’m not afraid to have confidence in young players.”

Rohr on attackers

“When you see what happened this weekend, (Odion) Ighalo scored four goals, Musa scored two, Victor Moses scored one and had an assist, Kelechi (Iheanacho) played very well at Leicester,  but didn’t score. Alex Iwobi played also. So, I’m not pessimistic about this department. We have  Mikel Obi, who can give good balls and also score. I think we will be able to score some goals at the World Cup.

Rohr on defence

“My problem at the moment is in the defence because (Leon) Balogun is injured, William Troost-Ekong is not playing since they changed the coach (at his club). Tyronne Ebuehi is injured and Elderson Echiejile is not playing many games, so we have to check our defence also.”

Uzoho is our number 1 keeper... After reading recent statements by Rohr, I think he has made up his mind on Uzoho..

“I don’t think goalkeeping is the weak link in my team,”

“After we lost Carl Ikeme to sickness, we had what seemed like a goalkeeping crisis but Ikechukwu Ezenwa did well in the qualifiers but we kept looking for options.

“Francis Uzoho came as an option because to go to the World cup, you require two good goalkeepers and I must say he has done well in the three games he has played for the Super Eagles that I won’t be afraid to start him in our opening game against Croatia at the World Cup in Russia.

“Francis is good and tall, and he is ready to learn. He did well in the friendly games against Argentina and Poland with two clean sheets and conceded two goals against Serbia in his third game in which I experimented with some players and tactics.

“I don’t believe he will get stage fright playing against the likes of Messi and other big names in Russia, because after playing against the likes of Lewandowski of Poland, Aguero and Di Maria of Argentina, I am optimistic that he would rise to the occasion in Russia.”
BTW he didn't play against Aguero if my memory serves me right

He was never given a chance in turkey, Musa is a good defender with a lot of skills that modern right back poses, good management and Agent can dim the brightest talent light, you should know better

I think, it goes beyond agent..

He was loaned to the Bosnian league and did not impress.

In his current club, he has 9 yellows and 1 red in 20 games.

I do not think, he has improved enough for senior level foot

he got signed in February for a Bosnia club and left to a better league at the end of the season, having 9 yellow don't make you a bad player, Ndidi is reported to be one of the dirtiest player in premier league but his one of the best there too.

Just imagine his management got him a team like Porto or Gent, the first move in Europe could damage your European career.
