Thx to whomever posted that 94 video. Painful to watch but that WC campaign put us on the footballing map. At that time, teams feared and revered us and we were regarded with high standards. I don't think I can say the same nowadays.
I rewatched the 2014 world cup match between France and Nigeria yesterday, we gave our all in that game; we were in control of that game until matuidi took out Onazi at the early stages of the second half, sadly our game collapsed going into the last 15mins of that game and two goals went in....we have a great team for the future.

Eze is not on the level of either Awaziem or Omeruo yet. I know because i have seen his games in Bulgaria. There is still some (a lot) rawness there. He can get better though.

Yes he's not but he's still needed for the Mundial for tactical Reason. Aside from Balogun and Ekong, Eze stands out based on height, ruggedness and Stamina.

Agbo has got multiple Invitations, yet he has never played even for just a Minute for the Team, thus it won't be bad to drop him for Eze.

I trust Eze's rawness is being refined perhaps separately during training Seasons, and I'm having the feeling he gonna make the 25-Man List.

Ezenwa been there while we qualify does not change the fact that his not good enough, no surprise with Rohr inviting and keeping fate with another keeper.

but calling for eze inclusion ahead of awaziem and Omeruo is really difficult to understand

grin

Lol..... so Ezenwa ain't good enough, but a Rookie is?! So you prefer Uzoho as our No. 1 GK?! How many competitive Matches has Uzoho been in Post for the Eagles?!

Can you highlight or refer to a Post where I made the bolded Statement?!

They?! Did you forget we qualified for the World Cup with Ezenwa between the Sticks?!

Based on Merit or Sentiment?! Eze has the Body-frame to excel as a Defender vis-a-vis Omeruo and Awaziem?! Secondly can you prove it that both Omeruo and Awaziem can be trusted in a 2-Man Defence?!
which one is defender's body? The body wey Eze get pass the one wey Egwueke been get? How far that one? Na body dey play ball?

Lol...... tactically he's gonna be useful in some Games. For instance let's say we are leading the Croats by a Lone Goal, fully lock down the Midfield and they couldn't penetrate rather resorting to wing-play and crossing.

Don't you think we gonna need a Defender like him to deal with aerial Threats?!

safarigirl:
Agbo is not the one blocking Eze.

Did I say he's the one?! Guess questioning the fruitful-less invitations of Agbo is wrong ba?! Eze gonna start Today's Friendly, whereas Agbo still gonna be glued to the Bench.

To me Eze is more useful to the Team than Agbo cos I've not seen the latter repping the GWG at any Level.

mourinho's style is all about efficiency. he will sacrifice 75% possesion and win the game 1-0 with a vicious counter.

That's good to know. I haven't seen the team list yet, but I hope Rohr is smart enough to use our fringe players to prosecute this game, the likes of Mikel Agu. At least, that would give him an idea on whom to drop and keep.

Haha!! Whatever!!!

Just look at the way they won on Saturday? Winning by taking out your opponent's biggest weapon. Do you think that they should've won if Mo Salah wasn't systematically taken out? I give them credit sha, Real Madrid is one football club which would do ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING to win.

And Sergio Ramos is the dirtiest soccer player on the planet but, for the most parts, he tends to get away with it. Meanwhile, the good news is, Cristiano Ronaldo was a NON FACTOR in both two semi finals and the finals. Hence, Leo Messi stands a good chance of winning Ballon d'Or if he has a decent World Cup. I am pretty sure that Cristiano Ronaldo would be a NON FACTOR in Russia.

13 reasons why Real Madrid are European champions
27/05/2018 | 13:21 CEST En Español Rubén Jiménez

1: The referees
The whole world knows. Italian referees, English, Serbian, Turkish and wherever they are from, there is a conspiracy to make Los Blancos win successive Champions League titles because that's the best thing which can happen for UEFA
2: The draws
The secret is hot balls, those which have paired the club with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich. It's all remotely controlled.
3: Zidane is lucky
He's so lucky that he decides that Bale is better as a substitute and he comes on and scores two goals, one of them a bicycle kick. The changes of Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio were beneficial and starting Karim Benzema and Isco made the team able to retain possession. It was all so lucky.
4: Their opponents are old
Kylian Mbappe, Mohamed Salah and Neymar are all on the downward curves of their careers, their age shows they are clearly declining.
5: Their fans don't encourage them
The chant of 'We're not going to love you' was heard in Kiev and it was a sign of respect to the fans of Liverpool, but it gave Real Madrid encouragement.
6: It doesn't matter that Antonio Pintus doesn't know how to coach players
Los Blancos reached the final with every single player fit and available, there were no injury concerns and everyone had the chance to start the match. This all came after Sergio Ramos said the players were all like Miura, but obviously Pintus has no idea what he's doing.

Real Madrid own the Champions League throne
Listen on Audioboom
7: Their opponents were injured
Neymar was hurt and couldn't play against Real Madrid, whilst Salah was left injured after a collision with Ramos on the pitch in Kiev. You simply can't compete in those circumstances.
8: They somehow escaped Mbappe, Lewandowski and Salah
In every single match it was clear that the opposition were going to take full advantage of Real Madrid's defensive fragility. It was said that playing against Dijon and FC Koln is the same as the European champions.
9: It didn't matter that Marcelo doesn't know how to defend
Liverpool were going to destroy him in the final.
10: Even though Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't score in the big matches
The Portuguese forward failed to score in the semi-final or final, his last goal in the tournament came against Juventus.
11: Despite the fact Bale and Benzema have no value
The two goalscorers in the final were the two most criticised players throughout the season.
12: Because opposing goalkeepers hand them victories
Sven Ulreich and Loris Karius must be involved in a shared WhatsApp group with UEFA referees, they conspired so that Los Blancos would emerge victorious.
13: Because being from Madrid is easy
This something everybody knows, Real Madrid simply don't have feelings or emotions, those are things for others. Opinion • Zidane continues to make coaching history
