Gave this company a trial last week as I had orders to be shipped within Port Harcourt and Uyo in Akwa Ibom. They were ready same day to pick up. I was not so surprised that the Port Harcourt delivery was same day but the Uyo delivery beat my imagination. By evening of the same day, the customer called me that delivery man was in her office. Mr Clement, if you can continue this way, then the sky is definitely your starting point. Kudos! More orders coming soon. Will keep updating here as you make deliveries. You ll add up to one of my successful businesses with nairalanders who are supposedly complete strangers.
On this one, you have done well.
Did I mention that one of the orders was cash on delivery? Thumbs up. I rest my case.

We decided to give waka4u a try to handle our deliveries in phc, and I must confess our experience with them has been outstanding with over 20 deliveries so far.

One thing that impresses us about their service is the speed of delivery and remittance of payment without delay.

I hope they can maintain this credibility.

I vouch for waka4u.

The world we say is a global village and smart businesses are using technology/the internet to expand their horizons. Gone are the days when people just walk into a store to pick any product based on impulse. In recent times, people are more likely to search the internet. While online marketing and e-commerce in Nigeria is far from perfect, the potential is untapped and seemingly infinite. As a smart business person, you need to position yourself to be just where your customers are, and when they are.

A typical Nigerian will not send you money and hope you send him a dress or piece of jewellery. A typical Nigerian wants to see and inspect the quality of what you are selling. As a merchant, this is risky. There are countless cases of buyers receiving packages and vanishing with a merchant's money afterwards. This shouldn't be so, and this is where we come in.

Waka4u is here to help you reach more customers and expand your business horizons/market in 4 simple steps.

1. You send us a package
2. We pickup from the park
3. We deliver to the customer in exchange for cash
4. You get paid on the same day or first thing on the next working day.

Easy right? Why not give us a call today?

Why you need to offer Pay-on-Delivery as a Merchant

Nigeria is experiencing its fair share of e-commerce. Although the industry is far from perfect, the advent of online shopping sites like Jumia, Konga, and Yudala, amongst others, have encouraged more and more Nigerians to accept the idea of shopping/buying online. One major trend that has fuelled and can revolutionize the industry is pay-on-delivery.

Pay on delivery, also known as cash on delivery (CoD), is a payment system whereby a customer pays for goods ordered from a merchant or e-commerce site when the goods are delivered. In most cases, merchants or online stores partner with independent delivery companies. This is a relatively cheaper and more efficient method, in comparison with having an in-house delivery segment.

We’d be masking the truth by saying shoppers haven’t had pitiable experiences buying online. A typical Nigerian believes you are out to cheat him as a merchant. And as a merchant, it is not also advisable to send out your goods believing your customer will pay. This is where pay on delivery comes in handy. So what are the benefits of adding pay on delivery services to your business as a merchant?

Trust
This is a vital ingredient in every business transaction. Nobody goes to the market and buys a shoe knowing fully well it is substandard and bound to spoil in few weeks. You can’t blame customers who refuse to part with their money, chances are they have had negative experiences or heard negative feedback. You can’t also blame a merchant who refuses to send his goods without prior payment. Chances are that a customer had vanished with his money in the past. This challenge leaves your business hanging in the balance. By offering pay on delivery services, you bridge the trust gap, prove to customers that you are not a fraud, and ultimately become open to more customers.

Increased Dynamics
CoD brings a new perspective and outlook to marketing and sales. The world is a global market, and it’s no hyperbole saying that you can increase your sales by over 100% with the right techniques. By bridging the gap of trust, users can order your goods from anywhere, with the expectation that your goods will be delivered to the address provided. This way, a customer has ample time to check and try out the product, the benefits a real shop affords.

It is important to note that irrespective of the obvious benefits associated with pay on delivery, the industry is still budding in Nigeria. There have been cases where customers order for goods with CoD options only to say “they didn’t have money and just wanted to see the items”. There’s also the challenge of late remittance from your delivery partners. However, CoD comes in handy when you operate in a highly competitive market. If your product is unique and creates special value for the buyer, you may not need CoD. The bottom line is that the associated benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

Integrity pays. That's the summary of my experience with this coy. From promptness in remitting cash collected to exceeding my expectations for deliveries outside port Harcourt. I have got more orders fulfilled by them than in time past. No more cancellation of orders. In the past two weeks, orders have been delivered to port Harcourt, Lagos and abuja with seamless cash on delivery as added service at no cost. Mr Clem is growing this empire one step at a time with professionalism. The sky is definitely your starting point.
I am of the opinion that there are jobs in Nigeria the problem people have is getting honest people to partner with. Even a thief is looking for who he can trust his loot with. Enough said.
Waka4u Don Waka all my Waka for me. You rock!

Ok! It was my gf birthday recently and she was with family in PH. Though we were meant to see in lag like a week later, I still wanted to surprise her with a Bday cake, so I looked online for how I can get a cake to her on her Bday. (Am in lag by the way) That's how I found waka4u, I spoke with a certain clement (funny dude) explained what I wanted and he assured me that he could pick up the cake (from spar) in PH and have it delivered to my gal at home. I sent the money for cake n his delivery charge was surprisingly cheap. Before 12noon my gal called that she's gotten her cake n she really liked it. What amazed me was I sent 10K for the cake, they didn't have any cake above 7k at spar, waka4u called me after the delivery and offered to refund the balance. I was shocked at such honesty. Great job you guys are doing!

Re: Waka4u Pickup And Delivery Customer Care Service by dokwa: 12:45pm On Jul 06, 2016
I ordered items worth over a 100k, but my shipper doesnt do deliveries outside lagos and i am in Benin so i did a Google search and came across waka4u, saw the reviews and decided to try them out, they picked up the items quickly and were ready to send it down to Benin. The next day I saw an item on Olx and contacted them, pickup from the olx merchant was Swift and all items have been received in pristine condition.
Will definitely be using waka4u again.
