Less than 1k for accommodation in LA?? Honey kindly wake up from that dream o. shocked shocked
And u are d person that wanted to interview LadyG. Abi? # gist mode activated# are u now utilizing the information as per ...... For others? Or ursef? cool

@cheldas,

Search for Dr Mbagwu, am sure u will get d details.

Madam make ur findings well before u pounce on people.
My discussion with ladyG does not have anything to do with giving birth in USA. I'm not a newbie here , already had my first child using this forum.
I got other info on rent and it's expensive just like everyone rightly said so I don't think it's a crime to seek for cheaper options since the accommodation is a determining factor as to weather I will give birth in ca or houston.
And yes, everyone else can benefit from this information.

Hello house, I want to renew my B1/B2 Visa. It will expire in Dec 6 2016, I intend travelling in Oct and may stay till Dec thats why i want to renew it. Pls how do i go about it. Should i go fill the DS160 form again?

No need to renew it.
Even if ur visa is expiring in 3 days time and u enter the US today it's at d discretion of the cbp to stamp u what ever duration he so pleases.u get? So don't waste ur money and time applying again.

The most important is for the visa to b valid when u r entering not when u r leaving

But less than 1k? In LA... Hmmmmm.
Accommodation is my determining factor too. I'm only interested in apartments I won't have to furnish or buy kitchen utensils... Nd I won't share bathroom too. And also hope the flatmate won't be a leech

i didn't want to quote u before cos I know ure a feb mom if I'm correct but not too sure of ur destination.

Let's keep watching out for apartments and be hopeful we will get a cheaper one. I plan to leave early Jan cos my visa expires in Jan. So I have enuf time to make my decision on my final destination.

Thanks for ur response.

There's no matter. You are 100% correct. Bt if she is rejected in the renewal she can travel with the existing visa. She only will lose 48k

Have you checked airbnb? Homestay? There's even a website for free accommodation for as long as 6mth to 1yr if you will provide assistance like childcare, babysitting cooking for a few hours daily. Sometimes, you may have a mansion to yourself if your host is never around.

There's another website for shorter stay, also free accommodation if your host is travelling and they have animals you may need to tend to when they are away.

@Ijeomaobi mom2015 buzzed me. But for stuff other than visa stuff or birthing in the USA stuff. She actually buzzed to offer me help on a different matter and was quite helpful too.

The interview guy was brandon something. In retrospect he was prolly an agent setting up his website

Pls don't send any letter of intent. They might cancel your visa and the risk is high for you. You need to be very careful even at the point of entry. Maybe you can can go for one week vacation at the place you filled in your application first before your birth adventure
