See by your own admission your premise is based on rarities! No doubt there are girls that would open up about their feelings, they are plenty over here in the States but 9ja girls? Mba! Most 9ja girls are so worried about being taken for cheap that they would rather lose the guy than to confess their undying love for him. Back in school, I caught many fishes in the sea, out of over 30 girls only 1 was crazy enough to instigate the flirting and I respected her for it. Now of course we have girls that would come after you hard if you've got the bar and the right packaging but don't make it seem like they are plenty when in reality they represent less than 2% of all 9ja girls.

Not exactly true. I mean, if I don't compliment, does it mean I'm not into her? And if I always compliment, does it mean I'm into her?

A dude may aggressively flirt with and compliment a lady at the office but they both know that it's just harmless flirting with no serious intention because they are both married with kids. Meaning a mutually consensual friendzoned relationship with lots of compliments and nothing serious.

Conversely, a dude may be into the girl but being the quiet type, wouldn't want to appear mushy, dorky and stuff, so would rather keep the compliments to himself and make his feelings known through other means.
