It is always said that public servants especially the civil servants are either low or average income earners. This stereotype has made many think against becoming one.
My Question is, can't a civil servant turn a legal millionaire if not a billionaire while in service by using his spare time to engage in personal business? The experienced ones i need your candid opinions here because i love to be one and still be legally rich.

This is exactly what i was discussing with a friend few days ago, its not possible without looting...millionaires/billionaires in this country are either politicians(looters),money ritualists, drug dealers, pastors, or employers of labour(Full time legitimate businessmen) and not someone under the payroll of any organisation or federal government...

Of course if you have a legitimate profitable business that is being managed by a trusted ally, why not. But I don't think using ur spare to run a profitable business will cut it. You resume work by 8am and close by 4-5pm, which spare time again, unless the business will be a professional Armed Robber, who operates only at night.

How can it be possible when inflation is on the rise, fuel sells now at 200 naira per litre. Very impossible. Even as most of them wear 2 shirts every week, to save money so that they can move ahead in life, its still difficult. The only way it's possible is if the Parents are rich and the workers inherits fortune or he is extremely hardworking and have a VERY viable business. If not all the rich civil servants are looters.
