This is a world record in the history of robbery in Nigeria or maybe the world; breaking into the central bank of a country and stealing money has never been recorded (none that I know of) but now it has all changed as Zeus and his brothers cleaned the vault of the central bank of Nigeria without lethal force but with the use of impersonation, subtlety and brilliantly planned techniques…

Lagos, Nigeria

Sunday, 9:40Am

Zeus organized the biggest party in Lagos for the sake of their success and a better nation. The party, to the invitees was a regular party organized by a wealthy man or politician’s son. The party started right from Zeus’s compound and extends to the community; there were canopies everywhere you go in the whole of Maryland. They also set up celebration grounds in other parts of Lagos that same day, places like Badagry, Ajegunle, Bariga, Ikeja, Oshodi, Apappa, and there was not a single place lacking our local exciting delicacies and there was enough to drink; booze was not left out. The sound of music filled the whole atmosphere with people dancing and enjoying the unknown party; this particular act turned the eyes and attention of people to Zeus…

“This is the biggest party I have ever seen” Luke said holding a glass of wine

“This is a national party” Hades said

“No, this is a national cake” God-Eye said and they laughed

“He’s right, it is a national cake and the national cake should be eaten by the rightful owners” Zeus said

“Exactly” Luke said

“This is just the beginning; these billions belong to Nigerians so they have every right to enjoy it and so I have decided that this party will be organized every month” Zeus said and they applauded

“Beautiful, now it’s a tradition” Drummer said

“Zeus?” Haliya called him

“I wanna talk to you” she said

“Excuse me guys” Zeus walked up the stairs to her

“Zeus, I’m not against this party and as a matter of fact I’m also enjoying it but I don’t understand what the party is for” she said and he smiled

“We are celebrating our victory, the victory of Nigeria and the beginning of a real change in it’s positive form for Nigerians” he explained

“I don’t understand you yet”

“I have taken the money of Nigerian from the thieves who stole it and I am handing it over to it’s owners” he said

“How did you get this money of Nigerians you say?” she asked

“I took the money from the Central bank of Nigeria”

“O my God; the trending news now in the country was the robbery at the Central bank in Abuja on Friday and are you telling me, you guys were the robbers?” she was surprised

“We’re not robbers and we don’t steal but we Take from the Plutocratic thieves and give to the right owners”

“What?”

“The money is for me and Nigerians but some group of persons who call themselves government have gathered to satisfy their selfish desires with the wealth of the nation; they lied to us, to telling us the country was broke but on the contrary we have been able to retrieve 500trillion dollars from the digit vault” he said and she was shocked

“500 what?”

“Yes, but now it’s no longer in their hands and I’m very sure there are more money in the cash vault. With this money now, I would do what they have failed to do by changing the lives of as many Nigerians as possible and until this is done I will not stop haunting down every single one of those political thieves and their President Sanusi Babangida” he said and she just stared at him in silence, he then kissed her cheek

“Enjoy the party” he said and touched her face then walked back down the stairs, leaving her standing there with nothing to say…

Two days later…

As Luke drove to the gate of Zeus’s compound he saw 7 articulated Lorries parked outside the compound, he drove into the compound and parked his car then went into the house where he met Zeus discussing with two men, he walked to Zeus and Zeus introduced him to the men and told him that they were hired to drive those trucks into town and that he had also hired some ladies who would go into town with them to distribute the items in the lorries. And after some time they left and Luke asked Zeus what was in the trucks

“The seven lorries are carrying different items like bags, phones, bags of rice, electronics, kitchen utensils. Toys and drinks”

“It’s a good thing to give out like this”

“Yes and we need the people in our favor so as to bring down the present government”

“I smell revolution” Luke said

“Your sense of smell is fully active”

“I have waited for the moment when someone rise up against this corrupt thieves and stand against the plutocratic government and bring real change to the people”

“That time is now Luke… that time is now” Zeus said smiling…

Two Days Later…

As Luke arrived at Zeus’s house Ade informed him that Zeus was out to meet some persons to discuss creating a political party

“So what are up to?” Luke asked Ade

“Nothing much, am just doing studies”

“Come on give yourself a break and do something else; go have fun”

“There is no time for fun and besides I have more information on Saheed Ganiu”

“Tell me” Luke said

“He has a Swiss account” Ade said

“Good, how much is in it?”

“Approximately 400 million dollars”

“God damn”

“Guess what?”

“What”

“I can hack into the account and get the money” Ade said

“Good, so do it”

“I can’t from Nigeria unless I go to Switzerland”

“That’s not a problem?” Luke said

“Yes, so I’m leaving for Switzerland tomorrow”

“Good, does Zeus know?”

“Yeah”

“Alright, I need a drink” Luke said standing up and walked to the wine bar

“I’ll be right back, let me round up something in my room” Ade said and went upstairs

Luke sat by the bar and after about 5mins Jameel came down

“Luke?” she called out and he was a little bit startled at the sound of her voice, he then turned to look at her

“Jameel” he said and smiled as he dropped the glass on the table; she then walked to him and sat on a stool facing him

“How are you?” she asked as she looked into his eyes with a little smile

“i… I am fine” he couldn’t hold his gaze

“What’s the problem?” she asked

“Nothing” he replied and raised his head

“You have been avoiding me for weeks now”

“Nah”

“We used to chat online but now you hardly come online and you even ignore my messages, when you come here you try your best as to avoid me”

“Jameel please… you know why” he said

“No I don’t” she said immediately

“I don’t want Zeus to find out about this and besides we have been very busy lately doing thing together”

“Things that are more important than your feelings” she asked and he was silent for 3secs

“My feelings for you are very much important but so are other matters” he explained

“I see” she said as she looked away

“Please Jameel don’t put words into my mouth” Luke said

“Everyone has the right to love, you better start realizing that before somebody else takes what belongs to you” she said and stood up and walked away

“Jameel?” he called but walked away

It then dawned on him that she was almost out of his life and he felt bad about it; he couldn’t stay anymore so he left…

nymore so he left…

Next Day…

Zeus and Haliya were sitting under a sunshade and enjoying the company of each other

“I want us to go to Abu Dhabi next week” Zeus said as he held her hand

“Please… I have been in Abu Dhabi all my life”

“So where would you like to go?”

“China’ she said

“China?”

“Yes, I would like some Chinese food and a little bit of Kung fu practice”

“Excuse me, couples” Jameel said with a sad face, Zeus and Haliya looked at her

“Hey honey what’s up” Zeus said

“I wanna talk to you’ Jameel said

“Sure why not sit” he said

“Hi Haliya”

“Hi Jameel”

“I wanna ask you for something” she said

“ok?”

“Are you gonna give it?” she asked

“I will if I can”

“O yes you will because I’m in love” she said; Zeus and Haliya looked at each other

“In love is a good thing”

“Yeah it is”

“So who’s the lucky guy?” Zeus said

“Luke’ she said and Zeus smiled

“Do you need my permission to have a relationship? Luke is a nice guy” Zeus said and Jameel was surprised

“You’re not angry”

“Why should I?”

“Is it that pretty boy who comes here to look for Zeus?” Haliya asked

“Yeah” Jameel said

“He’s a nice guy” Haliya said

“We’ve actually been together for a while now” Jameel said

“I knew there was something between you two, I felt the chemistry” Zeus said

“Thank you Zeus I love you” she said happily and kissed his cheek and hugged Haliya…

One Month Later…

Zeus has arranged for a meeting with the youths in Lagos at the national stadium in Lagos. The youths were entertained as they waited for Zeus’s arrival; Hades, Drummer, Machine, Evil spirit were present but Zeus was yet to arrive and so was Ade, God-Eye and Luke…

Zeus came out of the house and walked to his car with Luke and Ade, Ade entered the drivers seat and then Zeus stopped to talk to Luke

“Hey” Zeus said to Luke

“Jameel told me something” Zeus said and Luke’s fear heightened

“she told me you both are having a relationship “

“It’s not what you think Zeus” Luke said

“C’mon luke don’t lie am not against you guys” Zeus said and Luke was surprised

“Seriously” Luke said

“Just don’t break her heart so I wont have to break your head “Zeus said smiling and tapped Luke’s shoulder

“lets go Zeus said as they entered the car and drove off …

They arrived at the venue and it was filled up and had people outside the whole place, everywhere was crowded with people and cars but it seemed the people recognized Zeus as he stepped out of the car and they cheer him for the good he has been doing ; polices were everywhere as they escorted them into the stadium and led him to the platform to speak. The whole place was filled up even the field and the people cheered and applauded them as they climbed the platform…\

God-eye came out of his mansion with his girlfriend and then there was a knock on the gate and the security men opened the gate and the next thing they saw was the security men falling to the ground with blood. Some men then entered the compound and started shooting at God-eyes and he quickly dodged with his girl and they both ran back inside and the men headed for the door.

“Who are they “ she asked with fear

“I don’t know come with me now” he said and they went through a back door into another room and he took her to the back door and opened a small gate that leads to the outside but then some men opened fire at them, he then knew they were surrounded. They both entered into a small house at the backyard and then he asked her to stay in the bathroom and he locked the door he then opened a wardrobe and revealed a collection of guns, he armed himself with two berretta in his hand.

Three men entered through the back gate with guns but God-eye shot them dead immediately and moved into the house , he could hear movement as he climbed up a set of stairs and he saw ten men with machetes and guns moving round the house then one of them climbed upstairs, God-eye quickly entered into a room and close the door. He called Luke number but it wasn’t going through so he decided to call Hades but it was switched off. His adrenaline ; he came out of the room but didn’t see anyone he then went through the stairs that led to the back and went back to the room to meet his girl and they both came out and moved slowly to the front where they saw the men , they quickly hid themselves but after sometime the men left…

Thank you Zeus said smiling as he stood behind the puppet with a mic installed on it

“I know a lot of people must be wondering who I am and why I have been organizing parties and giving out things. Well, we all know that things are hard these days and I had a lot that I cannot finish so the best way to make use of them was by giving to those who are in need. We all know that if you close your pocket nothing goes in and nothing comes out but the best way to receive is by giving”

“But that is not the reason I have summoned you all here today”

“The reason we are here today is to discuss a change for this nation, a real change and not the ones our plutocratic government promised and failed to do.

The last general election took place two years back and the ADP (Action Democratic Party) was declared the win, even before the election they had promised you all change that will restore the country better than before but those were empty promises as usual, instead they gave us change in negative form.

In 10months of their leadership, Nigerians cry out in regret; you all voted them in with your thumbs all because we believed their lies and now they are satisfying their selfish ambitions. It has been 2years now and it’s gotten worse than ever; the president promised #5000 stipends to all unemployed youths which he later admitted he was not the one who made such promise but it was the party.

A man who denies his own words can only bring disaster to us. A month after President Sanusi Babangida became president, electricity became better but then 9months down the line it became worse. The electricity we enjoyed then was the last effort of the former President, it became time for the new President to work and he couldn’t, is this the change you want”

“NOOO!!!” the people voices roared

“In a short period of time, Nigeria has experienced multiple fuel scarcities, is that the change you want?”

“NOOO!!!”

“Presently we are even experiencing fuel scarcity; your minister of information, Saheed Ganiu has officially declared that they never promised employment but rather job opportunities”

“The banking sector is witnessing all manner of charges and the most painful is the #50 postage duty, is this the change we want?”

“NOOO!!!”

“The naira is tumbling against the dollar because President Sanusi Babangida is using 1970s economic style to direct a 2016 economy”

“The market has been seriously affected as common house hold food are as expensive as eating one square meal a day. A bag of water is now 200 naira, a bag of rice is at 13,000 naira and still climbing; even a 100 naira bread is now 120; Ladies and Gentlemen, in this period food is fast leaving our tables, is this the change we want?”

“NOOO!!!”

“That is why I want you to join me in bringing change in it’s positive form to the nation. I am not here to campaign for presidency but I am here tt inform you that there is a solution to all these bullshit.

A new political party will arise and will be governed by the real leaders, for we are tired of being leaders of tomorrow, we want to be leaders of today”

“YEEES!!!”

“As many of you who are tried of the suffering and want a change should register him/herself as a member of the NGL (New Generation Leaders) and then we will meet to discuss the change we will bring.

I promise you that a real change will unfold in our lives for the better. Thank you” the crowds applauded loudly as he left…

As Zeus left the crowded scene into his car, he asked

“Where is God-Eye?”

“I don’t know, I called his line but it’s not reachable” Luke said and then his phone rang and he saw it was God-eye

“God-Eye where are you?” he asked

“I was under attack some moments ago” God Eye said

“What?”

“Some group of men came into my house to kill me”

“Where are you now?”

“I’m at home”

“Let me speak to him” Zeus said

“Zeus wants to speak to you” he said and handed it to Zeus

“God-Eye what’s happened?”

“I got attacked”

“Ok we’re on our way to your house” Zeus said and hanged up, Zeus called Hades and others to meet them at God-Eye’s home

They arrived at God-Eye’s home; they parked outside and went inside the compound and saw the body of the dead security man on the ground with blood

“Move the body” Zeus said; Luke and Ade moved the body into the small room by the gate

They walked to the main building and saw God-Eye sitting on the floor with his girlfriend Yvonne, the whole house was scattered and they destroyed things and tore the chairs with machete

“God-Eye” Zeus called as he entered, God-Eye turned to see Zeus

“Zeus” he said and stood up

“What happened here?” Zeus asked as he looked around

“They destroyed everything”

‘Do you have any idea who could have done this?” Zeus asked

“No but they dropped this” God-Eye said and handed Zeus a note which reads “you can hide but we will find you and cut you to bits”

“What’s the meaning of this nonsense?” Zeus said

“No one threatens our brothers; Ade make a scan of this place I need something”

Just then Hades and others came in

‘What the fvck happened here?” Hades said as they entered, they explained everything to them

Ade took out his phone and opened a scanning device installed on the phone, he searched everywhere but couldn’t find anything but he scanned a piece of glass that pierced into the T.V screen and got finger prints

“Found it” he said and then used his handkerchief to pull it out

“What would you do with that” Luke asked

“I’ll just take is home and run a real scan on it, my phone can only detect but can’t save it” Ade said

“I can locate him with this now” Ade added

“I think God-Eye should relocate for now” Hades said

“Yes that’s true” Zeus added

“Babe what’s going on” Yvonne asked

“I’ll explain later” God-Eye said

“Hey Miss” Zeus said moving to Yvonne

“it’s going to be fine, Ok?” Zeus said

“I hope so” she said

“Don’t worry yourself, you’re safe I promise you” Zeus said smiling

“Let’s meet at Hades house by 8:00pm” Zeus said and left…

Until the attack on god-eye i was about to critique you on your story being too fantastical with little sprinklings of reality, but now that you've introduced another dimension to the story, its all good, bottom line is, it is okay if all your protagonists die like the G.O.T, we will hate you for it but we will love the story more, your introduction of the antagonists is a bit anti-climatic, first there was no hint in the rumour mill that the family was suspect, you also painted their ops as squeaky clean with no traces left behind unless you plan to expose a mole within the family ranks, affiliates or domicile community their sudden appearance though surprising and exciting to many is expected since they are struggling against a well established organisation with backing of the presidency but IMO the plot is being unhinged and wouldn't such an organisation with such influence go after them publicly with the organs of law enforcement seeing as they actually committed real crimes and took lives in the process? , your story still also crosses borderline fantasy in term of figures, figures like a personal fortune worth $500b, a national reserve worth $500t, no man or country is that rich, not by a long shot, not even gates and china, your story also has no good guys no matter how you paint the family as a sort of Nigerian robin hood, they're just a different shade of bad like the riddick or the punisher and that in itself is acceptable unless you start making out to be some sort of saintly messiahs out to save the masses from their oppressors, there is a reason why man of steel and batman vs superman has so many critics, especially if your plan is to present the family as "do no wrong" super heroes like superman, what is acceptable from a punisher is abhorred in a superman, there are different standards for different heroes. if a "Nigerian" all action flick is your forte and aim, then you're not doing bad.

All in all, keep doing your thang
