This truck was arrested along Gusau road in Zamfara state by Customs Officers of Sokoto/Kebbi/Zamfara Command on 3rd April 2016. The tanker was carrying 100 bales of smuggled second hand clothings concealed in the tank compartment. See photos below........... See disguise! Importation of Frozen chicken have since been banned yet people sell frozen chicken in shops in all parts of Nigeria. Why not arrest the sellers to confess where they buy it from? I guess this is the same way those frozen chicken are been transported. |

A custom officer friend told me that for every one container of contraband seized that ten of such has passed through the boarders under their watch! But this ones are a show of showmanship! That even the New Customs CG Ali has been enmeshed in the corruption of the system. That the harsh tone of his voice when he resumed office has now been fine tuned to a sexy cool and very friendly one! Alot of illegal drugs have been transported using different transportation means ...... Example is transporting Indian helm with the same tanker and you think it's fuel that's inside ...alot of means ....though I don't see anything bad in this one but the issue is #why the use of tanker ? |
