Another daylight robbery was recorded today as robbers attack UBA, Intercontinental and Ocenic bank along Ilorin road, Apake Ogbomoso. Lifes were lost during the scene and huge amount of money were stolen by the hoodlums including that of ATM vault. The robbery which took place under an hour collapse the normal peaceful activities of the town.

The hoodlums started their operation by spraying their sophisticated weapon, they later blow down the security gate of the three banks with dynamite. two out of those that lost their lifes are 400l student of LAUTECH doing their Industry Attachment.

Its quite unfortunate. Ogbomosho town is 0% secure, in fact we school there with half our mind. May God help us, i hope the Oyo state Government will abandon their non-challant attitude towards the security of lives and property in the state. Very Unfortunate!
