This is just a repeat of 2003 when Eyimba defeated Ismail of Egypt to lift the CAF CL for the first time - then, it was a tough time for CAF to even present the trophy to them . These antics should be curbed by imposing heavy sanctions on these clubs. It's like a norm in Africa (even national teams face this too) to be hostile to your opponents by playing off-the-pitch games to destabilize them.

For the North African teams, losing seems to be a bitter pill for them and this is not the first time such acts will be meted out to their visitors. It is a disgrace that at this level, we can not conduct ourselves properly. Eyimba 'played smart' by giving updates of their treatment before the game, so it is less of s surprise to see these stories.
