Fayose Should Apologise Over China Letter - Ekiti Youths by metroparrot: 6:52pm On Apr 23, 2016
Youths in Ekiti State have described Governor Ayodele Fayose’s letter to the Chinese Government opposing loan to the Nigerian government as a display of foolishness.

The youths, under the aegis of Ekiti Kete Youth Forum, expressed as shocking, disappointing, uncultured, unnecessary and unconstitutional, the recent treasonable act committed by Fayose against the Nigerian government and her people.

“The decision of the governor to attempt frustrating the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in his effort to redeem the political image and also resuscitate, restructure and reposition the battered economy of the nation is not only unfortunate, but also insane,” they said.

The youths, in a statement issued and signed by Comrade Tope Idowu, Director of Media and Publicity said it has now become obvious that Fayose is not in any way working in the common interest of Nigerians and Nigeria.

“Though we are not unaware of his political hatred for President Muhammadu Buhari even before he became the president of Nigeria, but the display of such hatred should not be to the detriment of the progress of Nigeria. Initially we thought Fayose was playing a progressive opposition, aiming at putting the President on his feet and making him deliver on his electioneering promises, but his recent decision to write the Chinese government not to support Nigeria government at this very sensitive and critical period is totally insane and worrisome.

“Ordinarily, we expected the governor to know better that such an act is criminal, unfair, insane and a breach of the oath of office under the Schedule Seven of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which he sworn to protect and uphold. For God’s sake, Mr. Fayose is not the only Governor in the opposition parties in Nigeria, and sad enough, he is the least of the opposition Governors, morally and education wise.

“We, Ekiti Youths are seriously getting worried as our governor is becoming a monumental tragedy, exposing us to social ridicule and destroying our pride as a people, that probably God has deliberately given us Governor Fayose as a punishment. But we pray that this time should pass away as quick as possible. To set the record straight, it is imperative to again reiterate our utmost displeasure over the unnecessary and frequent display of lack of intelligent by our state Governor.

“The absurdity of this act has left us with no other choice than to dissociate the entirety of Ekiti youths from the insanity. So that the people of Nigeria who mean well for this great nation, the Nigerian government and the Chinese government to know that Fayose does not represents or reflects the general view of Ekiti people.

“We of the Ekiti Kete Youth Forum wish to urge the Chinese government to disregard his letter and throw it into the dustbin of irrelevance as Governor Fayose is a man of questionable character, with no academic and moral credential. We also wish to intimate the Chinese government with the facts it should put into check before considering taken Mr. Fayose serious,” the youths said.

The body demanded an unreserved apology from Fayose over the show of shame he put up at a train station in china, saying the idea of a whole governor posing and taking selfie in a public place with the intention of fooling his people like a local champion who had never seen civilization before was the most ridiculous idea any public officer can ever conceive.

“We demand the immediate refund of the state money which Mr. Fayose spent on the fruitless and shameful trip he made to china just to take selfie at a train station. That the Anthony General of the Federation (AGF) institute a case of treason against Mr. Fayose over his breach of Schedule Seven (7) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic which he sworn to upon at all time.

“We demand in clear explanation with proof from the Governor Fayose led-government of Ekiti State on how it spent the bailout fund and the federal projects’ refunded money made by the Federal Government, as no visible capital project has been initiated and successfully completed in the state by the current administration, yet it has refused to pay the workers for many month, even when the governor gets his allowances and security vote fully paid on a monthly basis without any form of delay.

“We call on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to come to our rescue as quick as possible, because with the rate at which the governor is handling the finances of the state, the state may end being poorer than a church rat,” they said.

It seems some Nigerians are just now realising that Fayose has lost it completely. I am personally convinced Fayose has mental 'challenges' but this is Nigeria where occultists, ritualists and killers become governors. Let us all keep watching. What is sure is that Fayose will not see the blow coming when the 'empire strikes back'.

but his recent decision to write the Chinese government not to support Nigeria government at this very sensitive and critical period is totally insane and worrisome.

What is wrong with some of you? Fayose is a governor not an ordinary citizen. He must put sentiments and political enmity aside to support the efforts of the current government to get Nigeria out of the economic doldrums we are mired in. It is not done anywhere in the world. Buhari contested an election to be President so that he gets the right to make these sort of decisions on our behalf. Nigerians give him their mandate to do so not fayose.

Who is fayose to then start trying to undermine the official decision of the President of Nigeria and his team that our own people entrusted with the mantel of leadership? Are you saying Fayose is right showing disregard for the official authority of the Presidency that he is duty-bound to respect? Put sentiments and bias aside for a second and you realise you have just spoken in favour of the sort of ugly and disgraceful political lawlessness and gansterism Nigeria should have put behind her by now.

Fayose is simply acting true to type. What do we really expect from a man who:

1. Detained his father's corpse, putting his burial on hold??

2. Told the world his mother's got a leaky bumbum??

That man is a quasi mental patient.

Thank you. That is my opinion as well. This behaviour exposes Fayose as a tout and gangster who knows nothing about democracy. The APC, as the legitimate ruling Party that won the electoral right to take decisions foe Nigeria, is fully within its right to pursue economic policies it feels will help Nigeria move forward. that is why we all went to the polling booth to cast our vote. Fayose is just showing himself as an uncouth and lawless individual who has no respect for the concept of democratic rule. When someone is the democratically elected President of a country then he has earned the right to make difficult decisions on behalf of the nation no governor has the authority or even political justification to oppose or undermine. Fayose can criticise the loan as many political leaders and opinion group can do but he has no right at all to write China in an effort to undermine the official decision of those elected to rule Nigeria when he is actually only elected to rule Ekiti and should be focusing on that.

Of course. This one is too much and the man is a mentally unstable megalomaniac who is now embarrassing Nigeria. Following Buhari to China to stage some stupid and entirely unnecessary 'talk' at a bus station is insanity. You then have the balls to write a foreign government to ask them defy the legitimately elected political leaders of your own country when that is the government, by the laws and constitution of the nation, vested with the mandate to make such decisions for Nigeria. Fayose is only benefiting from the fact that Buhari is being careful to show the world he is not dictatorial or intolerant. If not Fayose should be dealt with seriously. This is totally unacceptable behaviour from a political gangster who no longer knows his place and does not accept the constitutional rights and authority of different tiers of Government. I.e FG, State and local government. Buhari is the legitimate leader of the federal republic of Nigeria while Fayose is governor of Ekiti State alone. Someone needs to point this out to him sternly.

He is being encouraged by people who feel bitter about loosing election and for that the nation must be brought down on its knees to prove a point even if they sink with it

MY FRIEND you need to shut up. where were you when your satanic sponsors were embarrassing Nigeria all over the world in the guise of opposing GEJ? Where were you when they wrote to the US not to sell arms to Nigeria? And orchestrated the embarrassment of Nigeria in South Africa when we made attempts to purchase arms? Fayose has my unalloyed support, I know him and have been with him. On this APC project he's got my support! PMB/APC is NOT Nigeria.... He swore allegiance to Nigeria not a bunch of misfits in Aso rock. By the way there's no forum like this existent in Ekiti, the APC publicity secretary should try harder with his sitting room conferences. I didn't give and will never give my mandate to Buhari. I have only been quiet because of the VP.

and APC did what to GEJ? Fayose understands APC and knows their weaknesses .... meanwhile he doesn't read newspapers or watch TV. talkless of fbk or twitter....to him politics is local and his multimedia/newspaper/tv/radio is the society.

we warned APC they only shouted more.... now we are going to serve them dosages of their own medicine... Fayose is just a tip of the iceberg.

You Still Owe us 7 Months Arrears, Pensioners tell Aregbesola
The group of retirees of 2011/ 2012 under the aegis of Good Governance Support Group (GGSG) of the Osun State branch of Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) has declared that Governor Rauf Aregbesola still owed the pensioners in the State seven months arrears, and that no fewer than 522 members lost their lives as a result of the non-payment.

According to the statement signed by the group’s Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Gbenga Oyeleke and Comrade Sola Olojede respectively, in reaction to the purported media interview granted by the State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Mr. Jacobs Adekomi, titled: “NLC Affirms Osun Govt. Not Owing Salaries”.

They condemned the stage managed interview of Mr. Adekomi in the electronic media, pointing out that they lost some of their members without enjoying the fruit of their labour due to the insincerity of Adekomi who allegedly signed the unauthorised Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State government that allegedly enabled Aregbesola to divert the bailout funds to the State.

“Our attention has been drawn to the purported stage-managed Electronic media interview where the so –called Osun State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour congress (NLC), Mr. Jacobs Adekomi stated that ‘Osun State government not owing workers in the State’. We want to put it on records that Mr. Adekomi of NLC did not have power to speak for the Pensioners in the State as Mr. Rauf Aregbesola is still owing pensioners seven months pension.

“We wish to state here categorically that Mr. Jacob Adekomi is not fit to be a Labour leader in all ramifications and also not sincere with the welfare of the workers, he is leading in the State. Instead of fighting for the interest of the workers which their check-off due are spent by Adekomi, he chose to collude with Mr. Rauf Aregbesola led-State government to plunge the State into the state of quagmire whereby the unborn generations will suffer the consequences”, they alleged.
