The early morning rain that fell in the early hours of the day has caused heavy flooding across some areas within the Lagos metropolis.
Reports from ketu have it that the service lane and express lane is heavy flooded with water, motorist were seen abandoning their cars on the roads. Workers highlighted from commercial buses and trekked inside the water with their clothes rolled up.

At Maryland bridge linking Ojota to Maryland, it was observed that a portion of the bridge is heavy flooded with water due to the blocked drainage on the bridge, Most vehicles on the bridge are partially submerged and can't pass through the flood, causing heavy traffic which has built up to ketu. Everywhere is blocked.
