I empathize with your ignorance or sheer hatred for our progressive prezido.........so leaving 'executive laden budget' according 2 u in the hands of few legislators who were elected 4 the purpose of checks and balance is still the ineptitude of the executive?

Believe me this is the first and most transparent budget in the history of democratic regime in Nigeria and that's is why the NASS is finding it difficult to play by the due process cos they are not used 2 it.
Don't mind her, some pple just have brian but dey can't use it

This stupidity and embarrassment occasioned from the inability of Buhari's administration to present a coordinated Budget has never happened since the amalgamation of Nigeria.

This is a shame to this government where the executive laden corrupt budget was left in the hands of few Legislators to rewrite and forward to the Executive without the consent of all the members of NASS except the appropriation committee.[/quot I wan t u to know brother that this is how its hs bn happening 4 years only bcs buhari didn't allow it ds time around and DAT is y u r hearing all of these ds time around one may hate buhari but he hs good intention 4 ds great nation

The budget was full of floating funds, inflated prices, redundant recurrent expenditures and repetitive projects executed and paid for by previous government.

The Legislators just used some of the floating funds to get their demands into the budget.

Remember, the total sum was still reduced by some billions.

Leave politics aside there weren't any floating funds anywhere. The said floating fund equated to the amount that was earmarked for the Lagos - Calabar rail line. The individual items on the budget totalled accurately, so where did the issue of floating fund arise from?

These legislooters did it to OBJ, they did it to Yaradua and GEJ, and they want to do it again to PMB. Let us be careful lest we fall for their antics.

This shows the level of corruption in the country. So PMB was right to have rejected the budget. Unlike our passed Administration where anything Goes.. #changeisaslowprocess. Thumbs up Mr Presido. Always knew we made the right choice.

Now I understand why Abdulmumin Jubril was asking the president to assent to the budget without the budget details.
No wonder he speaks with so much venom and provocation.
Talking to the presidency as if they are at war.
Now we know better. The wind has blown and the fowl yansh is in the public domain.
The same greed that cost Faruk Lawan his political career is hunting you.

The President refuses to sign the Budget because NASS inserted some unapproved projects which are not originally in the budget. The appropriation is in charge of the budget in NASS,so the budget has to pass through them but unfortunately for them they under rated the President thinking is going to be business as usual. So we the true Nigerians want the right thing done irrespective of how long it will take.

They thought its business as usual... Despite the initial scandal of budget padding by people trusted by the President to uphold the virtues of honesty and dedication, these our (s)elected representatives still had the gut to re-pad the budget for their own selfish interests. I hope it is clear to them that Nigeria has a new Sheriff. They fail to realise that even at 70+ this president is still strong, committed to the Nigerian dream and pay special attention to details especially when it has to do with documents and data. Honestly, we need to applaud the tenacity of President Buhari. However, it does not mean that we should not criticize him when he fails to do the needful. Luckily he is not tainted by corrupt practices or anti-social vices so our 'privileged' men and women in the hallow chambers can not find their way around him. Hopefully when the time for 2017 budget preparation comes everyone will sit up and do his/her constitutional duty without fear or favour. God bless Nigeria!!!

If u dont understand d trend of things, must u display ur ignorance ****? Buhari saw the budget he presented was padded by NASS, all u saw was stupidity of Buhari, not NASS. I think u are a little bit indisposed. Read and understand before u comment. Things are changing, not like PDP era of corruption, when NASS pad budget and they will accent it.
