In the past, and in recent times, Christians have been slain by religious fanatics.

Many Christians have been praying and worshipping the Lord for many years, but remain in their problems, mostly financial.

Last year, a faithful elderly Christian, who’s served the Lord for many years lost his daughter in a fatal motor accident as she was returning from a night vigil, not from a club or party.

There are other Christians who suffer one heartache or another in various ways. While many church leaders are preaching a problem-free Christian life nowadays, we know that the reality is different.

But why do Christians suffer?

Wow sorry for your loss. It's well but you don't know the full story till you hear another side of the story... If you are God and you know that after that day the elderly Christian would backslide and go to hell... What's your best alternative than to take her away before the devil can snatch her.

Or

This is a very simple explanation = NO ONE KNOWS ALL THE ANSWER.

What if it was an attack.... A planned attack by a familiar agent of Satan who is close to her or who sees her as a threat. This is very strange and I pray for her relatives to find grace n peace in their hearts to accept the loss.

Faith and being faithful are never the same thing. a person can be faithful and die of sickness and accidents or whatever but still they will make heaven... What you must never forget and always be conscious of is God loves her deeply... No matter what went wrong... There is something about love that is difficult to see... And mostly the best way to save someone you love is to DIE FOR THEM.... GUESS WHAT... Jesus did that.

So what would you choose.. Been saved from an accident or being saved for eternity... WHICH Don't answer in a hurry

I wouldn't agree entirely that 'Christians' specifically suffer. I believe every human, regardless of our religious views, go through good and bad times in life. The only specific suffering attributed to a Christian from the bible is suffering because of your belief in Christ which the world may not accept. Every other suffering is ubiquitous to all men. yet, the difference for the christian is that he has God to depend on in such times
