I don't know when this 'GEJ had to let go for peace/Hero of Democracy' toga will clear

Whoever told you GEJ would have let go?
You think he would?
Why did he deny that he promised to do a single term?

GEJ only handed over because he and Buhari had signed an agreement with the Peaceful Transition Committee head by Abdusalami Abubakar that they would both accept the outcome of the election without violence and would instead approach the court for redress than disrupt the democratic process.

He was bound by that agreement and had no choice but to step down. Refusal to would have opened a lot of antagonism to his decision, from Nigerians and the several peace committees he had committed to. He could afford that route so he stepped down.

Una think say Oga Jona and Aunty Peshe sef no like power.
