I have been diagnosed with inguinal hernia. I feel very uncomfortable in my back and abdominal area especially at some nights which makes me hard to fall asleep. Is it due to something that I eat? I consulted a physician and he suspects that I may have hernia and has recommended to a hernia specialist in Shouldice Hospital. I want to know if anybody here ever had hernia and what did you do to prevent and recover from it? Any help or advice would be great and much appreciated.
