I'm doing an economic research into corruption and it's effects when I stumbled on this semi-masterpiece and it could not be more accurate in describing the situation in Nigeria. Hard to think University of Lagos had professors and lecturers this good.

One big reason. There is no repercussion in our society for being a PEN robber, we turn around and play the ethnic card as soon as one of our "SON" is accused of it.
We only Honor people of money without questioning the source.

Yeah, those are all alluded to in that article. The only instances where we are all united against a corrupt leader seems to be instances where only the leader benefits while we are all left in the dark a la Abacha's regime.

Its has become our culture right from the time of okotie-eboh, through gowon and then the international bad boy got it into our DNA. Not forgetting Ali Baba and the fourty thieves who have the authority to award only post graduate degrees in this way of life.
