Everything is just as you showed but the notification light for any app doesn't blink. I get charging notification light though.

well, from experience both the front camera and rear camera of the Redmi 5 plus are terrible on low light (I miss my gionee s plus in this regards).

I guess it's because of the smaller apperture f/2.2.

However on bright light both are outstanding. Especially the rear camera (see pic below)
