I stand to be corrected, what PM cameron just did is called BACKBITING… no matter what element of truth u can find in the conversation… on a lighter note… we should charge him for SLANDERING #Gbam#

Guyman02:

What element of truth that is new? Camerons father was indicted in the Panama papers but the British media decided to focus on Vladimir Putin and Bashar Assad of Syria who were not mentioned in the leak. The corrupt British are renowned for stealing from other countries using colonialism and military power up to the latest in Africa which is Libya and also Iraq; London is a haven for looted funds from around the world.

Its people like you who support white skinned corrupt idiots like Cameron to insult our country.

I am not corrupt, it is you and your family that is terribly corrupt, I work hard to earn my living

There was nothing criminal or illegal about Cameron's father establishing a company in Panama. It was only a question of it being morally wrong since it is a form of tax avoidance. Despite this, the newspapers did not cut him any slack, there was a lot of pressure on Cameron during that period.

It's so sad reading about how this foreign leaders talk about us without respect but truth be told, we are responsible for all the insult and abuses. We are a terribly corrupt country with terribly corrupt leaders and followers.

For once, we have a president who is trying to clean up the corrupt system and some citizens are fighting and urging him to stop the war on corruption. We've even seen cases where some youths have mounted serious protest against the trials of politicians who are standing trial for corruption under the guise that the trial is political witch hunt.

If we want to earn the respect of the international community, we need to change our shameless support for corrupt leaders and support the president's effort to wage serious war on corrupt former officials.
You are human without blood running in your system. You are no doubt one of the most senior zombies just unlocked from cage. Thrash.

FYI,pmb anti corruption is selective.Infact,he is persecuting his political enemies.

Really. That's all you've got? Cus Britain is spending money on trident means Nigeria is not corrupt or that Britain is more corrupt?

Try again.

At least they priotise the safety of defending their people compared to Nigerians who stole money expected to defend Nigerians from boko haram

MrPresident1:
Britain plans to replace its Trident Nuclear fleet at a cost of 100 billion pounds, if we convert this to Naira at CBN official rates, it amounts to N22,700,000,000,000, 22trillion 700 billion Naira to spend on nuclear weapons. It shows you the 'white' man prioritizes death over you, ordinary poor ignorant and silly Nigerians.

https://www.rt.com/uk/335831-cnd-trident-osborne-budget/

If Nigeria is a corrupt country, how then do we describe a country that budgets an amount 10 times enough to feed the whole world, for weapons of death ten times enough to destroy the whole world?

And cameron has the guts, the effrontery and temerity to say that Nigerians are 'fantastically corrupt'! The irony of life!

O God, when will black people arise from the dead?

You're incredibly silly for drawing such comparisons. What similarities are there between a country which allocates a portion of its budget to updating its nuclear trident and one where public funds are constantly misappropriated and siphoned off into private pockets?

The nuclear trident serves as a deterrent, so in essence it is vital to the maintenance of peace but somehow, you are silly enough to expect the UK to abandon its defence objectives and instead use that money to feed the poor people of the world.

You're better keeping silly opinions like this to yourself

Excuses, excuses, excuses. We are one of the most corrupt nations in the world and that is a fact.

The UK having tax havens is not justification of us being corrupt, and countries such as the UK and Dubai etc. have been putting in place processes to limit the inflow of stolen funds which is one of the aim of this summit isn't it? And besides a tax haven is not necessarily corrupt or illegal.

Lets even assume the UK is willing and happy to take stolen money, is that your justification to steal your country dry Please stop making excuses, we are damn corrupt. News just came out of how we stole aid money given to us for HIV victims, we steal people's salaries and pension, we steal money which was to defend Nigerians against book haram, we steal everything. Went to Nigeria last month, every single person trying to find a way to get money out of you right from the airport. How many times have they asked you for money in HEatrow? If you say Britain is corrupt, please next time you are in the UK bribe a policeman and lets see how it ends for you.

Thank you. I don't get how some people are tying to use that to justify Britain is corrupt and Nigeria isn't.

How many of the Nigerian politicians indicted in the panama papers have admitted fault or apologized? Not one.

David Cameron calls Nigeria and Afghanistan 'fantastically corrupt'

From the section UK Politics

David Cameron and the Queen

Image caption

The PM was speaking with the Queen, the archbishop of Canterbury, Speaker John Bercow and Commons Leader Chris Grayling
David Cameron has described Nigeria and Afghanistan as "fantastically corrupt" in a conversation with the Queen.

The PM was talking about the forthcoming anti-corruption summit when he made the comments.
It was not clear whether he knew the comments were being recorded.

"We've got some leaders of some fantastically corrupt countries coming to Britain... Nigeria and Afghanistan, possibly the two most corrupt countries in the world," Mr Cameron said.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby intervened to say: "But this particular president is not corrupt... he's trying very hard," before Speaker John Bercow said: "They are coming at their own expense, one assumes?"
The government will host world and business leaders at the summit on Thursday in London, aiming to "galvanise a global response to tackle corruption".

you make me laugh, you simply have been brain watched so much that you hate yourself for been black, that is what this is about not corruption ,if the UK wants to fight corruption then they would loss everything in the uk,because Uk was built by Africans, either resource or human lifes.as for corruption, the UK keeps and protects the most corrupt people in Africa and there monies are in the Uk,go and read African history they kill African leaders who refuse to be corrupt,as for HIV what rubbish if there was no HIV in 1979 in Nigeria ,we should be more worried about how HIV got into Nigeria by 1985 rather than talking about who stole what,i dont think you know what corruption mean, you actually think corruption is all about taking paper, please you need deep education and definitly not the white mans education

When he was canvassing for the British Nigerians' vote he did not know that abi. He was then visiting all the Nigerian churches to win their votes. I hope he does not get to run for election again. But truth be told, every facet of our society is corrupt. It is in our DNA and blood. Everyone has a price tag.

Anyone who attacks David Cameron's obvious true statement, is an ingorant f*ool!

Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in the world! ALL Nigerian politicians both past and present are all very corrupt!

ALL government institutions are corrupt! ALL businesses operating in Nigeria are corrupt! In fact ALL establishments both privatec and public are corrupt!

And the ONLY way to end corrupt in this ghetto called Nigeria, is by legally killing corrupt politicians.
Re: David Cameron Describes Nigeria As A Fantastically Corrupt Country by Btruth: 6:56pm On May 10, 2016
So true. If we are not fantastically corrupt, then, what will our Senate President (3rd in the country) be "fantastically" doing in the court?

Silly thieves that portrayed themselves as leaders.
