I have other lines I use as well. I stopped using the glo two months ago. No matter how much they cheat, So far, this still beats the others when it comes to the lower monthly plans for now. Will switch as soon as the plan becomes redundant(which is the way of airtel).
So y'all should verify stuff first b4 screaming bloody murder.

I subscribed 1.5k for 3GB on a non-BB device only for it to get exhausted at a phone data usage of 1.47GB!!! Na the "innovation" or brain making plan be that?? After contacting the Airtel Care, they could only say they count their data specially for Android devices as the plan was originally intended for Blackberry devices.

Needless to say, that was the first and last time I tried out that plan. "Not all that glitters is gold" and "cheap things can be very costly" are two chronically wise sayings.

Actually they've changed it.... 10k for 22gb 8k for 16gb..... The 2k for 3.5gb can be done twice to get 7gb... Basically 4k for 7gb. ...

It started with Glo, then MTN and now Etisalat have joined in the league of those offering 1.5GB data at N1000. Other plans have been reviewed also. 3.5gb data is now N2000. We're now waiting for Airtel to put some icing on the cake of their N1000 data. No dulling.
I think this is a welcome development. Let's hope it only gets better.
However, 5gb data and 8gb data remain ridiculously exorbitant at N6500 and N8000 respectively.

All of you if you like continue fighting... I have a BB curve 8 that I use 1k for 3gb... So what I do is buy 2k recharge card so basically I get to use the BB and download up to 6gb with 2k to my 32gb SD card inside.... But then I started thinking that it's a little inconvenient... How will I browse with my PC? So I decided I'll do Airtels night browsing 11pm to 6am ..thats 700naira to pay for 7hours time based internet...that way I can download nothing less than 6gb OR even up to 10gb just like when PAYG or SimpleServer was around.... Imagine 6gb for 700naira.... All I have to do is sub and turn on hot-spot to PC.......But it's a night plan...its not everytime I have the luxury to stay up downloading...so in the day...its either I use my BB 1k for 3gb on Etisalat for direct downloads to it and transfer to PC or I spend 8k for 16gb on Etisalat or 10k for 22gb on Etisalat.... Or if 8k is too much I'll do 4k for 7gb......

I remember when the plans just came out tho. .. I had just subbed 2k for 2gb.. . The next day they were naw telling me.. Get 3.5gb for 2k.... Oloriburuku people buts it's all good now... Subbed 8k for 16gb... Downloaded like fire... Very soon...it will be 1k for 3gb 4k for 16gb and 6k for unlimited

Instead of doing 1.5k for 3GB... Why not the 1k for 3GB...the same airtel...it's what I'm using... And it works on Android... To prevent data zaping root your Android... Change IMEI to a BB10 IMEI finish

10k for unlimited. It's cheaper than other 4g networks.

My people perish for lack of common knowledge.... You guys do realize the Airtel BB plans have a higher burn rate on Android..... That's why you need to change your IMEI to that of a BB10 IMEI on your Android so that they will think you r using a bb10 device and they will reduce the burn rate to normal...And you don't have to pay 1500... The BB complete plan is 1k for 3GB... I just finished using it.... I Just downloaded up to 2.8GB with it.... For just 1k on airtel....

The speed is fair in the afternoon... Highest I got in the afternoon tho was 500kb/s... Network reception isn't so great here but it's okay for me
