I support an increase in minimum wage as long as subsidy is removed and the savings passed on to the public in form of a stronger economy!

leave subsidy and fight for an increased minimum wage all ye potential jobless NANS.
see this one, how many people are government workers in Nigeria? Nigeria is mostly made up of artisans and hustlers. Even apart from that, the 18000, most states are owing backlogs of salaries. Fighting for minimum wage doesn't make any sense. Barbers, carpenters, bricklayers, pepper sellers ain't government workers.

taa. How many government workers do we have in Nigeria? How will the minimum wage affects a barber? Aside that, even the 18000 minimum wage, the state government s couldn't afford it and they're owing backlog of salaries. Fuel price is not only about the government workers. It affects every Tom, dick and Harry in Nigeria.

NANS ko

They wil tear gas them.

Kill a few.

Son of carpenters and bricklayers to protest for the Oil cabals raking in Billions of money on fraudulent fuel subsidy,

No common sense.

Even GEJ knew that was the best thing to do but the fear of LOSING ELECTION made him continue with the crime.

NANS Should don't fool themselves occupying ignorantly.... Removal of subsidy caused the increment in pump price and Nigerian don't need that drain tunnel called subsidy anymore .
We bought SIM card and Nokia 3310 for 45 thousand Naira but today SIM card is free.
Let the competition begins in the nearest future we will all enjoy the dividend.. that I am sure.

Are you familiar with what's called a domino effect? It can be positive or negative! When the minimum wage is increased, it does not only affect government workers but also the private sector if it is implemented properly, the problem is that the law is not truly enforced in Nigeria and this is not only true for wages but other factors as well. We are a nation with laws but so many loopholes, cut out the corruption/wastages and States would have enough money to pay salaries which in turn leads to more spending by the working population which ultimately makes it's way to the barbers and the market sellers!

Nigerians must realize this is not subsidy removal, but increment of petrol price. Subsidy removal would mean any importer can bring in petrol into the country and sell at ''any price''. You don't remove subsidy and still fix the price of petrol.

This is a huge scam!. This's actually the biggest government scam since 1960!!.

Petrol price has crashed worldwide and if allowed to sell at free market price, we may actually but petrol at N50 per litter or less.

How can you be so sure Buhari is a scam?

UAE removed subsidy last year and since then price of petrol, kerosene, diesel, all keep crashing daily to the advantage of consumers.

Below is UAE's ministry of energy table of fuel price since subsidy removal.

Now you know why David Cameron described Nigeria as ''fantastically corrupt''.

By the way, $1 UAE = N55. If you do the maths you see the current petrol price there is about N75, after removing subsidy.
