I believe that "in every kid is an adult and in every adult there is a kid"! People here dismiss childish acts as means of conflict resolution but they have forgotten that even the Father God will maintain silence and suspend communication if He is offended by a loved one (Isaiah59:1-2)...

Ladies here will agree that when they are offended by someone so dear to their hearts they naturally start by sulking and hoping in their hearts that the offender's attention is drawn to the offence and a heart felt apology followed with proper restitution is made without a formal complaint being expressed by the offended party...

In romantic relationships communication becomes less verbal and more gestural. I frown at what my woman says and instantly she knows she has said something wrong and she apologizes or i'm too busy to chat with her and she gives me short, cold and snappy responses to my statements then i know she's unhappy so i get #1000 airtime and spend it all calling her to apologize and gist with her till she's happy again...

Love only thrives in the innocence of childish hearts and in the wisdom of the adult minds... but unfortunately couples have the foolish minds of children and stone cold hearts of adults and that's why divorces are everywhere...(1Cor14:20)

Look at it this way. Naturally men are more moved than women, women complain of tiredness a lot, women always need an emotional connection before sex unlike men, women breastfeeds, the ones at his me complains of he chores and working one needs to sleep linger hours to have strength for work the next day.

Those that may not be complaining are likely going to be exercising regularly as exercise increases libido and qunches fatigue

The sad reality is this; so many ladies out there (and even on this forum) do not even know what communication is. Not in practice. They do not know when their husbands / boyfriends are verbally communicating their grievances in the most mature way. No, they do not see it as such, much less appreciate it enough to apologize or seek ways to resolve the issues. These are the worst, and I believe are kind of ladies the OP is referring to in the above quoted.

Some guys never meant to indulge in acts that most ladies would refer to as "childish" in conflict resolution, but what is a guy to do when his woman repeatedly does not "hear"?

1. Stop eating her food. Go out and buy your own food and refuse to eat whatever she cooks.

2. Turn your back to her on the bed and don't make love to her.

Op I'v tried worst than this to my wife, she ignor me more than I did to her, infact na me the thing com pain pass sef, as soon as I decided to come down my sef, she show me more love than ever b4. So all this doesn't work for my wife oh.

Thought I could manage and cover up without knowing it would get worse!we can't just sit down to discuss without quarreling every time,I mean all the time,every discussion as husband and wife.As am talking to you now,we haven't talked to each other for two days but in the same house only two of us-my mistake though,I saw the signs and friends warned me that we aint compatible enough too but she was just too nice.I thought she would change as we move along.When I remember how nice and caring she used to be I find it hard to tell her it's all over.But I think I can't continue to stomach anymore as there is the tendency that we will surely part no matter how long we stay.We ain't just compatible in any way.Advice to others:don't overlook the small signs you see in the course of courtship as they will haunt you sooner than later.Go your separate ways no matter the love as love is not only the reason why two people should get married-

This is so sad. Why don't you guys have a heart-felt conversation. Be open with her and tell her that you are already thinking of leaving the marriage. Maybe she too has checked out of the relationship. Things have to change instead of you both staying in a toxic relationship.

Maybe you guys should have a trial separation. Sometimes married people take their partners for granted and it's only when they come close to losing them then they realize the errors of their way.

She is winning because you are ashamed of neighbours hearing you. I know it is not about winning or losing but you've got to shout louder next time to drive home your points. Do not let her cower you to a corner because you are ashamed to be overheard.
Shout like a rabid m'fucker, be a little insane to save your marriage, show how you feel by shouting if she won't allow you to communicate quietly with her.
Then wait for the ripple effects, be prepared for whatever outcome and move along with your life.

But I have a few questions if you don't mind.

How long have you been married? The early years of marriage, especially first year is usually challenging inspite of any passion that may be present. This is because two different people are trying to adapt to each other's way of life.

Do you know that you can learn to be compatible with anyone? Guaranteed it is quite difficult where certain temperament is involved, nevertheless it can still be achieved.

Both of you are always fighting because each wants to be heard and each wants to have their way. There is no winner and looser between a married couple.

As long as there's no infidelity and physical abuse, don't you think you shouldn't throw in the towel?
