salam... i got an information yesterday that the hajj commission (not sure if its nationwide or Ogun state) is requesting the intending pilgrims to pay another 300k which i still dont know the purpose. are they trying to make this hajj into a to extort muslims? the initial shock was when they said everyone will pay at once and no paying in installment, i guess they were surprised that people were able to pay and they are now devising a new way to extort more money cos they fell the money is abundant. CAN ANYONE PLEASE CONFIRM THIS INFO AND IF TRUE, WHATS THE PURPOSE OF THE NEW 300K? THANKS |

dejt4u: So you mean the payment made initially hasnt been used in purchasing tickets, securing visa and other things yet? Why wait till forex went up? If they had made those payments to the necessary foreign quarters in time, why will they come back to ask for more cos forex went up? |

As a matter of fact, the new payment to be made is 380k which is abt 50percent of the first payment of 800k. What kind unstable forex brings about such crazy increment? However, are there no muslims on this section? No one seems to be responding |
