This baby Croc was caught in my estate this afternoon and the guys are putting it up for sale. Won't that be an endangered specie as it is a Wild stock, which is better reported to a government agency and then taken to the appropriate center for proper care.

When will people's orientation be changed towards wild animals caught in their vicinity. I think the government has a responsibility of enlightening the masses about this.

What makes you think the buyer won't end up being an animal-lover that wants to keep the croc for a pet?
You talked about the government, is the government aware of how much work the seller put in to capture it? So he did all that for free?

we nigerians don't care so much about wild life.all they know is to kill and eat any animal caught.not realizing how many left in the wild.we don't have that culture here unlike other African countries rich in wild life.and most african countries has become a tourist center for many years because of wild life.nigerian government should enact laws on wild life. Even if is not going to work but let any man killing wild life know that he is doing so illigally

crocs aren't endangered, in Lagos alone, there's an healthy population in the lekki-epe axis.
there's even an island around epe (i can't remember the name at the moment) where crocs roam free.
