Road rage is one action every road user should as much as possible avoid at all times. The reasons for this is not far-fetched. For starters you do not know the capacity or mental state of the other party. You may end up being at the receiving end and the incident can also rapidly degenerate into an uncontrollable situation as evidenced by this incident that occurred off Hwy 6 near 290 in Texas.

From reports, the driver of a Dodge Ram pick-up truck didn't want to allow the driver of a white Hyundai Genesis pass him at an intersection. Both parties started exchanging words championed by the female passenger from the truck.

At a point, it seemed like the male driver of the truck was pacifying his female passenger, only for him in a fit of rage, got into the truck, violently drove forward, blocking the Genesis, nearly knocking his passenger down. Then the real action started.

The lady walked to the Genesis, exchanged more words with the occupants who then threw their bottle of fluid at her. While that was going on, her male driver ran and kicked the grille of the Genesis.

Like a wounded lion, both occupants of the Genesis charged at him with very sharp and heavy blows with their fists. When the lady cried and tried to intervene, she also got her dose of the blows, no time for gender inequality.

It seemed like the battle was fought and won, but the truck guy had one final 'trick'up his sleeve as he got into his car, threw the car into reverse and 'Ram-med' into the front of the Genesis inflicting major damages to it before speeding off, prompting the guys in the Genesis to give chase.

It's just sad how a very trivial issue was allowed to quickly escalate and could still get worse as Facebook user David Dao and his daughter Nina Mai who filmed the episode didn't know the outcome down the road.
