Help Rescue This Baby... His name is Timilehin Joseph (as given by his mother) He is 1yr 10 months old... He s diagnosed to have cataract in the left eye and cancer in the right one... His father and mother are separated.. I am trying to see his father, who hails from Ogun state... But, live in Lagos. His mother is a student in one or the polytechnics in Kwara... I think the baby is more important than the parental situations around him... We were at UITH today, a bill of 260, 000 was given as initial for chemotherapy... nysot: Thanks I have put up the account of our organisation, Save The Future of Children Initiative (SAFIN), in Ilorin Kwara State. I am a pastor and a researcher and so thought personal or church based account might not be too good. Caracta: Thanks, no problems go ahead, all help will be appreciated, I'm also making efforts to verify the father side positions on alleged negligence of the baby, before I involve the relevant authorities. Such is the life of children with broken parenthood... But my greatest concern is that the baby survives... Bless you. |

Yes, i called the mother yesterday, and she revealed nothing yet as come up...I hav told her to link herself to one of our parishes (RCCG) in Offa where she schools (Offa Poly), if we can help link her to the Church's CSR... my Challenge basically with that is that, she is a Muslim and by rule, she should have spent an average of 2-3yrs as a member b4 anything meaningful can be done...though, I'm on dat.. For now, the boy is still in pain. The awful aspect is even that, UITH does not allow him in without cash....if yu need the mum's number I can giv yu to speak directly with her... Thanks for your concerns... |
