For those using the app.....Keep only one APN. That is 'vox' for both internet and voice

i have an ASUS Zenfone Laser ZE550KL

it supports ntel bands. worked fine with LTE on Lollipop firmware.

when it received an update to Marshmallow, it stopped working with Ntel. wouldn't hold a signal.

just thought i'd share in the slight chance anyone else has same issue.

all i know is, i'm on CM14 and i can now use my ntel sim inside my device. thats all

I keep getting validation failure error and Ntel help line is not useful.

I'm wondering if the app checks root status or something because I've done all recommended. Sim is in phone, APN is vox, LTE works fine.....

You can root with magisk+ magisk supersu and use Auto Magisk. I don't know if automagisk will work with none magisk root.

Get the Alcatel Pop4 plus, it's 36-38k on konga and does 4G on all the GSM networks including Ntel. It only spectranet and Swift that it doesn't cover.

It's back up again but it's epileptic, up and down but functional. So go ahead and try it especially if the network is okay over u.

I only get a maximum of 2bars here, most times i'm stuck on one. So don't let us scare you.

Which device did you root?
I don't think the app would have anything to do with whether the device is rooted or not, as long as your APN settings are correct.

i bought their mifi on friday. when i got home i got 4bars but download was @ 250kb/s max. but since saturday morning its been showing either no network or limited network. wtf mhen. Till now i have not been able to connect. i don write their customer care tire. they are lyin that my area and my modem is ok. bastards. have i not burnt 40k troway so?

This is the worst experience i have had so far with any network. even zoom no bad like this.

even if it is a router, it can be unlocked remotely except swift which I had to go to Ikeja to unlock on saturday for 4k.

the app won't login on the phone no matter what, and they say the app is 'not compatible'. which is BS, but i don't have time to waste on irrelevant shit

The ntel signal here was somewhat erratic yesterday. Today, it disappeared totally for about two hours, as far as I could tell; but it's been back and steady for the past four hours or so (Lekki area.)

that's main reason I have to leave them to get themselves, 10k no b beans and u will be having network disappearing and having less than 200kbps for a 4g, maybe when they can be stable I will be back
