Job Title: Administrative Unit Lead
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office, Preside over facilities management, Supports operations by supervising staff; planning, organizing, and implementing administrative systems.


Job Description:
Ensure operations run smoothly within departments such as information and data processing, mail, materials scheduling and distribution, printing and reproduction, records management, telecommunications management, security, recycling, wellness, and transportation services.
Maintains a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
Manage overall culture of the organisation; initiates programs to ensure alignment of culture to company vision, mission and values.
Provides supplies by identifying needs for reception, switchboard, mailroom, and kitchen; establishing policies, procedures, and work schedules.
Plan long and short-term maintenance needs.
Handle the acquisition, distribution, and storage of equipment and supplies.
Supervise a building's operations and maintenance, real estate, project planning and management, communication, finance, facility function, technology integration, and environmental factors.
Plan workspaces.
Oversee renovation projects.
Provides communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; maintaining equipment; approving invoices.
Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analysing variances.
Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Manage vendors and suppliers of office consumables.
Educational Qualification and Experience:

· Minimum of 3-5 years cognate experience in a similar role

· B.Sc in any social science related fields.

· Must possess sound organisational, administrative and managerial skills as well as good people management, effective delegation and negotiation skills.

· Effective time and workload management

· Effective project management skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

Knowledge and Skills:

· Knowledge of the principles and techniques of administrative management including organization, planning, staffing, training, budgeting, and reporting.

· Knowledge of official planning and management.

· Knowledge of the principles of office management including organization, work flow, forms, supplies, equipment, and procedures relating to filing, record keeping, correspondence, mail, procurement, stock keeping, and duplicating.

· Good quality management and Reporting Skills
