4 gig ram, full HD like seriously in 2016 and besides what's the graphics card. Anything less than a gtx 970m now is whack. Even a 960m isn't enough to play games today.

They guy u quoted is right. All this specifications you listed, without a good graphics card amounts to nothing really. Problem with HP laptops is that most of them have Intel graphics, which in most cases are not good for heavy gaming.

Who told u pavilion isnt a gaming laptop..i had a pavilion 15 laptop and it came with 750gb hdd, 2gb nvidia graphics, %nd i was core i5...i played vertually every game i tried on it.

The guy above is totally right.
Just few weeks ago, I bought an HP pavilion system with nvidia graphic card for a customer and indeed it's a real gaming system.
Apart from some crazy Asus systems, that HP really got my attention because it's also a bad ass system.
