Remnants of the Niger Delta Liberation Force (NDLF), a defunct militant group in the Niger Delta region, has urged the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) to embrace peace and end their destructive activities on oil installations.

In a statement by Mack Anthony, speaking on behalf of the NDLF remnants, said "we are appealing to members of the Niger Delta Avengers to surrender and accept dialogue. No group or individual can fight federal Government."

Mr. Anthony also urged fugitive Government Ekpemupolo, also as Tompolo, to come of his hideout and surrender to the law.

He said, “we also appeal to Tompolo to surrender himself to the authorities on the part of peace to reign in Gbaramatu communities and parts of Niger Delta."

"We NDLF have staged FG and until today, we are still nursing our wounds. We also appeal to FG to employ internationally accepted military practice in Niger Delta. We recall during our experience, you guys [soldiers] bombed and burned Ayakoromor and killed several innocent persons."

He added that, “we repeat once again, pipeline bombers are criminals, fighting a selfish course over failed business empire with the present administration under President Muhammadu Buhari. We will always support Buhari’s administration to succeed just as we supported former President Goodluck Jonathan."

It's either they surrender or get wasted like the terrorists that they are. This government cannot be blackmailed.

Sincerelly, I believe dis NDA guys are just some criminals/corrupt pple dat benefited somuch under GEJ. Since PMB has decided to clean up d oil sector and prevent those criminals/corrupt pple from stealing our crude oil, dey too (NDA criminals) have decided to fight back by blowing up oil installations.
U will all agree wit me dat we now have a President dat is not here to loot. Their actions will only bring in d military to d SS which is not gud. We shud not support those criminals rather give PMB all d neccessary support to make our country a better place.

But will they listen?
The new group of militants are just looking for settlement and contracts....... until then, they will keep vandalising oil installations.
