Attn Governor of Abia state. please your excellencey, we need you to intervene in ABSU - Abia State University and save us from the corrupt VC. My younger sister and about 500 ex students of ABSU are stranded because the VC has refused to sign our certificates. We have been on this since December last year till now this man refuses to sign our certificates without any justifiable reason. We go there everyday they keep telling us the certificate is still on the VC's table that he has not signed. From reliable sources, the VC is asking for N10,000 for any certificate to be signed. Your excellency, please investigate this and do something about it. This man has about 500 or more certificates on his table but has signed none. Many of us are stranded now. My cousemate lost a job offer because the company insisted on sighting the certificate not statement of result because VC refused to sign till now. Your excellence, please wade into this matter and check what the current VC of ABSU is doing and why he has refused to sign certificates on his table when all conditions have been met. just 10,000 and you are shouting...let me tell you what I faced in eksu you will know this is just a child's play  Bro I will suggest you better look for the money and sort your sister out...this country is so corrupt beyond repair anytime soon and stuffs like this are not being taken serious. I know this because when I was facing a situation similar to this I and some others went to report the case at the ministry of education and inform them about the challenge we were facing when the news got to back to the institution, they became furious and even added more money to the "theft" and even delayed our certificates for months after 5 Likes |

Our higher institutions have always stood as a stumbling block to students destiny Aside donating unnecessary carryovers, they will withhold results they have no justifiable reason to withhold I hope they are signed and given to students soon enough..
