2. Diamond Ring

Directed by Tade Ogitan, Diamond Ring is a movie that casted a host of Nollywood stars, most of which we call veterans today, actors such as Richard Mofe-Damijo, Bimbo Akintola, Liz Benson, Zainab Bukky-Ajayi, Zack Orji and Tunji Bamishigbin. The movie was released in two parts (Part 1&2).
The movie is about an intelligent boy Chidi, who got into the university at a very early age, but finds himself with the wrong friends, landing him into a cult.

This is a Nollywood comedy movie, one that introduced Osita Iheme and Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki and PawPaw) into the Nigerian Movie industry. The movie centres around two young boys (Aki and Pawpaw) who caused unrest in their community.

6. Osuofia In London

This is one of the highest selling Nigerian Comedy of all time. Directed by Kingsley Ogoro, the movie centres on the character Osuofia (Nkem Owoh), a village man from Nigeria who traveled to the UK to receive his share of inheritance left for him by his dead relatives.

7. Domitila

Domitila is a movie about some girl who was a street hawker, but her life changed when she meet a high class politician who later turned her to his mistress. But nothing was the same after the politician was found dead in his hotel room after spending the night with her. This movie was so popular that the name Domitila became the new name for prostitute in Nigeria. The role of Domitila was played by actress Ann Njemanze and it was directed by Zeb Ejiro.
