I used to be an introvert but I think i am becoming an extrovert(I would love if someone can show me how to speed up the process). I personally don't think there is anything good about being an introvert. Life's harder for introverts

50 % about meee...I enjoy being alone,I like staying with close friends.my parents don't welcome opposite sex around except the close ones.but in my case its allowed,my schools close friends do visit. And when friends come for visit I had pretend am not around.my parents and siblings understand.[color=#990000][/color]

A lot of people see life of an introvert as boring. But we enjoy every bit of it. Though sometimes I wish I could go out, do the extrovert way but I just CAN'T.

Torturing life! Even with internet connection, my phone and laptop? I can stay indoor for three month if you add constant supply of electricity, walahi.

I was once in your shoe, but I am better now cos it has started affecting my profession. Look for the book entitled 'how to make friend and influence people' by Dele Canergie and digest it.

It is not a rocket science: introverts like me are comfortable with written communication just like tosynetoomuch, their problems lie in efficient oral communication. In fact, I have to start listening to like 4 radio programs daily before I could be able to communicate for 30 seconds with other parties.

Lol... Wow! I see... Introverts are fun to be with when you understand their temperamental make-up and get closer to them... They may not be out-going and really sociable per se, but I can say that they're very intelligent species, more intelligent than people think they are due to their gentle nature!

Being predominantly extroverted myself, I have introverted friends though and I can confidently say introverts are nice, gentle and understanding if you know how to get along well with them!

I love this thread...I was just nodding and smiling through out d illustrations and in my head I was like yea Dats soo true. In this world of ours no one really understands us, they think we boring or weird I hv even been told that I came from a different planet. I'm glad I came across this thread...tnx

This is me. This is what I became while growing up. I tried to combat it but it was getting stronger each day. Everybody said I was psychologically affected. I heard them saying I will never be successful because I have refused to socialize. But I'm an introvert. I enjoy being alone, not hurting anyone, strong will to help as many as possible. That is what we are. That is what we silently meditate on when you see us in our sober mood. Sobriety is our companion. We were born introverts. We will die being introverts. Don't try to change us, this is what we are. On behalf of all introverts, I want to let you know 'we all love you' though words might fail us but when we SMILE, you would understand
