Invited are the Hitchens, Studio Museum of Harlem, Dance Africa (America's oldest festival dedicated to African dance) and other black organizations from the Diaspora. MoCADA is also moving to a $12million facility next year. They are looking for Yoruba artists to place their footprint in the museum. the intention is to forge ties with the diaspora and spread our culture.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar said his dad told him they're from the Yoruba people of Nigeria from way back. And Nas' dad changed his name to Olu Dara from way back. Etc.
