But now I want to start my own enterprise so I intend coming to Akwa Ibom to buy Oil in bulk so I can supply markets here in Kwara state, ilorin to be precise.

Pls what are your advice in terms of financial, challenges, competition etc etc

Boss evening am abt to pay for oil at cost price of 8500 now is it sort of healthy at this point cos when i can av it is first week of August as agreed with the mill man.

well you can actually start with any amount. the best niche you can create is selling top notch quality oil. with this you can comfortably compete in the market. Better still don't look at for too much profit at this start, Just a Lil gain off the total cost is enough. this will make people always want to wait and buy only from you at all times. it's been my secret and I hope it works for you.

Ya, oil is even scarce in d market today. Culprit, too much rain, raining season does not favour palm fruit. There is also high demand for oil.

it won't favor importers currently with the huge levy and taxes imposed on palm oil. everything working in favour of local producers and I must confess it's a pretty good year

live in Zaria...... 12500 first grade
Kaduna is 11k to 11500
Abuja is 12500 and wuse market 13k
Lagos is still on the low side(10500-11k)
Kano is 11500
jos is 11500-11800
Jigawa is 12k
