Diabetes affects the manner in which the body handles carbohydrates, fats and proteins. If neglected, diabetes can have serious complications. The diabetic people have high blood sugar level. The blood sugar level is regulated by insulin – a hormone produced by the pancreas, which depends on your eating habits.
Diabetes is a serious disease. But the startling truth is that diabetes is not reversible. Diabetes is the number one cause of chronic kidney disease (CKD). This disease is a condition where the body is unable to automatically regulate blood glucose levels, resulting in too much glucose ( sugar) in the blood. Diabetes is a chronic disease that affects millions of people every year.

While talking about diabetes, you may be frightened from the idea that you may have it. Or maybe, you may have it in the future. You want to know if you are at risk to develop diabetes and anxiously you’re looking to find if you have any diabetes symptom
THERE ARE THREE MAIN TYPES OF DIABETES:

• Type 1 diabetes
• Type 2 diabetes
• Gestational diabetes
Type I Diabetes (juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes): The reason for type I diabetes is due to pancreas inability to produce insulin
This type usually starts in childhood. Your pancreas stops making insulin. You have type 1 diabetes for life. The main things that lead to it are:
• Family history. If you have relatives with diabetes, chances are strong you’ll get it, too. Anyone who has a mother, father, sister, or brother with type 1 diabetes should get checked. A simple blood test can diagnose it.
• Diseases of the pancreas. They can slow its ability to make insulin.. Desired blood sugar of human body should be between 70 mg/dl -110 mg/dl at fasting state.THE ROLE OF SUGAR: Sugar per say does not cause diabetes mellitus. Rather All the foods we eat are broken down into sugar, and the blood carries and circulate it in our body system. But it is worst if you take honey in place of sugar.
